Switched out the red blend lineup to Apothic Crush. Never met a red blend with Petite Sirah I didn't like.

Back to back replies two days apart. Is this thread on LVA?
Anyway, finishing up the Crush and now it's on to Menage a Trois Midnite, continuing this week's theme of red blends with enough Petite Sirah to make Ric happy.

Jalama Wines (Palm Springs by way of Lompoc and the Santa Ynez Valley) makes a stupendous PS that is way cellar-able. Not cheap. Not break-the-bank, but not cheap.

Did a little drywall repair for a guy. Talked about what we liked to drink. Payed me with this. DFCF0B4F-3151-4D09-82D5-23B5AB0612CC.jpeg

Does he need any help with painting?

Drywall repair is a talent I’ve not mastered, but I have watched several videos from the Vancouver Carpenter and I made a respectable “California patch” on a hole.

in the spirit of this thread.....it’s Sunday evening in the winter, so that means a Manhattan before dinner. I had some Old Overholt 100 proof bottled in bond whiskey and a little sweet vermouth. This is a once and done for me, I think I prefer Rittenhouse Rye for my overproof Manhattan up cocktail.

Dipped out of work at noon, played 18, shot a 84 for the first round since October, and am having a beer at my regular while sitting at the bar for the first time since St. Patrick's Day. Not a bad day. Not a bad day at all. Cheers from Virginia. 65 and sunny.

Having a wee bit of whiskey on the rocks, this on is from White Cap distillery in Atlantic City. These guys also make two rums, a vodka and a gin.
