How was the vibe on the Wynn floor?

It’s pretty quiet and laid back. Definitely busier than it was midweek, but nothing like a normal pre-pandemic weekend.

Wynn cafe - grilled cheese and tomato soup. Very good. Almost as good as @Flowers claims. :p

I remember the moat and definitely the Wizard of Oz theme at MGM, from my very first trip to Vegas (just not what year it was). I still have a keychain with the Yellow Brick Road on it that I use for my office keys. :D

and thank you Eliza for a very enjoyable trip report. I love all the places you visit and the meals you have!

Yeah I have stayed away from this game based on stories like this. I assume the Laughlin hit came much quicker?

    Another great trip for you!

Yeah, I've played BD a few times. I had heard rumors of the variance, but this was as bad as I've ever run on it by several orders of magnitude.

Slowly slotted my way back home. Up $20 at Venetian. Down $20 at Casino Royal. Down $75 at Harrah’s. And that’s a wrap. I’m up in my room drinking a glass of wine and packing. Head out to the airport bright and early tomorrow. By my rough count, I am going home ahead - by enough to cover my flights, food, and incidentals. I love when vacations pay for themselves. That never happens at Disney.

I keep a spreadsheet. I would be interested in how others track such things - maybe we should start a thread on that.

I live very close to Stratford. If you get this way again post pandemic, we should meet for lunch or dinner :)

Amen to this!!! Congratulations on going on home a winner on the financial front though, regardless of the financial outcome, your trip was just awesome and once again super informative. The gambling paying for the trip though is just spectacular and makes the trip that much sweeter. Hope you don't mind my following a bit of your foodie trail in about 60 days. :licklips: :feedme:

Wishing you safe travels back home and thanks again for taking the time to share and write such a great TR!

Loved some of the places you stumbled into, was fun to watch and learn. It is all too easy to keep going back to the same places, do the same things, you got to a load of places it never crossed my mind to, and looked like you had fun doing it - wpwp

I'm impressed and astounded at your energy level to do so much and cover so much ground in a trip,
this last trip I couldn't make it out of bed to make our 8:30 Pizza Rock dinner reservation, neither could she, she had gotten day drunk,
even with the promise of the $20 4Q FP she had earned that morning,
stayed on property, figuring we should give Circa the action for the corner suite comp..
My old, achy, feet and legs thanked me.
In my defense, I had been up until 9am the same day, (grabbed some Magnolias to go for "room service" breakfast) and knew there was another final all nighter ahead.

Amazing report! I was going to cut back my last day plans but you’ve inspired me to press on! If you can go from Mandalay to Atomic liquors I can make it from Mandalay to Wynn!

Did you need a reservation for Parasol or could you just walk up? It seems like the perfect way to end a trip! Bravo!

Ladies getaway, somewhere on the strip with a pool :)

You can just walk up though they may take reservations, which hadn't occurred to me before.
