I know this sounds crazy but... I have no problem playing 21 @ $100 a hand, but it gravels my ass paying $10 for a drink. Where is the cheapest place to get your drink on in LV?? Use to be a huge fan of the Stage Door but every time I've been there in the past year it seems to go down hill. Any other suggestions??

I think Cromwell has some mid-week happy hours that are cheap. Same for Bird Bar at Flamingo.

I also like YardHouse happy hour (3-6 M-F) for local beers.

For bottled beer, I've found that the casino gift shops have it cheaper than the walk-up bars.

(Yes, yes, yes, I know you are not supposed to drink those in the casinos.)

$10 drinks! Which Happy Hour is that?
Seriously, a lots of folks have trigger points when it comes Vegas. Some refuse to pay a resort fee whether it's the better value or not. Buying the steak or prime rib special instead of the strip steak they want because the two former are great values. Nothing wrong with that. Years ago the LVA got me thinking I've GOT to find the best deals. That's fine, but years later I just decided that I'm on vacation and it's not mandated that I choose the "best deal." Since then, I feel more relaxed when I go.

Usually immediately upon arrival in Vegas and checking into hotel (or, on way to hotel if I have a car) I make a stop for snacks and drinks for the room. I can't bring myself to spend $6 on a Pepsi or water, and want some yummies in the room. This has become routine for me.

Unless its a beer walking down the strip, I rarely "pay"(outright) for drinks. Getting them at bartops or while playing is usually enough.

If your're close to the Stage door, walk on down to Ellis Island, Last time there I think the beers were $1.75 a pint, from the tap, not sure about bottle beer

Ellis island also offers the 6 free drinks coupon in the Las Vegas Advisor coupon book.

For $100/hand, you can get free drinks (at no less than $50 in comp value) in Cosmo's HL room. I know because I was told $50 was the max they could do :D

Thank you. I am well aware of comp drinks while playing 21. Usually we have a "guys day" and head to some dive bar to do some heavy day drinking.

Fuel Bar in front of Ballys, grab some coupons from the strip workers or from the sign by the door...each coupon is whatever you buy, you get the same thing free...cheapest drinks on the strip, strong mixed drinks and a flair show to go with it

I'm right there with you. I think it's the fact that you can get free drinks while you play that makes me happy paying a lot for beer when I'm not.

I second the Blondie's happy hour mention. It's a first day tradition for me whenever I'm in town. Think it's only domestic drafts but hey, it's cheap.

PBR has half price drafts from 2 to 6 M to Thurs. There are actually a ton of good drink deals in the Miracle Mile Shops and Harmon Corner. Part of why I like PH so much.

Beerhaus had a similar deal every day but I think they're closed for COVID. Not sure when they're reopening.

I’ve never heard of this place but now it’s definitely a stop when we go.
