Can you remember where the poker machines were that you played? I looked around and couldn't find any besides nickel machines that weren't at the bar.

I'm interesting in hearing if @mwig adds to this, but I think most of the full pay machines are on the floor just in front of the cage, slightly towards Hugo's Cellar. You see some with JoB 6/9 signs on top of them.

I was having the worst morning ever at JOB. Had I known the rain of quads was coming I would have pictured them all. It was insane. 8 within 10 minutes and I'm up several hundred for the morning.

The pictured JOB machines are where I play. There is also full pay double double at the bar at .50 and some double bonus over by the cashier at .25 and $1

    Awesome, good to hear!

Someone correct me if I'm wrong. Bartop takes $20 coin-in to get one point vs $8 for the machines pictured.

Bartops do take more coin in but the double double is over 100% without points. I decided to take my quad luck to those machines. Hopefully more to come.

Actually it's 99.96% because the SF is only 200 credits. Regular 10/6 is illegal in several states who have a 100% return cap on slots/VP. So in the past (not so much anymore), this is the best game you could find in those places.

Close: It's $16 per point at the Four Queens bartops. Still $8 per point for the machines pictured. Playing $1 JoB at the machines pictured will increase your points and comp dollars quickly, in my opinion.

Nothing dramatic but this is the end result of the four Queens Freeplay. $600 free play and 2,503 points played.

May I presume that did not include your $2,000 royal flush?

As a DDBP player, those aces and prem hands you are getting is starting to hurt. But, your system and Free Play and up front comps are not to be dismissed!

I forgot to post pics of Hugo's Cellar on the first night. Salad with veal scallopini scampi style. Kona coffee experience with bananas foster.

I'm back home and realized this trip report really went off the rails. Sorry about that. Best of luck to @Ty who is out there now.

The final day we played a ton at the D. Between the 2 of us we ran through 20k coin in (at the .25 level) That is a grueling amount of play. Ended slightly positive for the day despite not hitting a royal and had a nice dinner at Andiamo.

Free play is a wonderful thing. We came home with $3500 extra thanks to all the free play in addition to hitting a .50 royal at 4Q's. I'm very tempted to go back in March but it would need to be middle of the month and I'm not sure if March madness will make crowds a ton worse or not. I made the mistake of going super bowl weekend last year and don't ever want to be there when it's that crowded. I spent more time in my room than ever before.

    A few last thoughts..

    1. Fremont removed NSUD from their inventory. I feel like every decision being made by the Boyd group is with the intent of driving people away. I just don't get it.

    2. The suite at 4Q's is a game changer. I had basically stopped staying at 4Q's because I really dislike the basic rooms. The suites have a completely different feel that I actually like.

    3. For the second trip in a row we enjoyed Hugo's more than Andiamo. They seem to have fixed some of the things that were going wrong with food prep and service. Andiamo had become our go to nice dinner for several years before this.

    4. I actually like the reservation system for restaurants. Magnolias and Paradise cafe always had lines that just wasted time. Now you just make a phone call and walk right in. I put all the numbers in my phone prior to departure.

    5. I'm ready to get back to a more normal state of affairs. I like every other machine being open and don't mind walking around with a mask on at all. Once I'm in my relative bubble in front of a machine I would love to unmask every once in a while.

    That's it for this trip!
