Boyd sent this survey and most questions began with “if gaming were legal in your state.....”. 1B646E58-A88E-46E2-A3ED-0DBE013D9C32.jpeg Not sure if targeted to Texas or just states without mobile gaming. Just FYI.

No mobile betting in Wisconsin and only tribal casinos. I did not get the survey.

I got that survey. I didn’t fill it out. I’m pretty sure mine came from Ameristar in Kansas City.

I assumed I got it because I made a mobile sports bet while on Boyd casino land using the company they partnered with (Fan Duel) a week ago. I guess I was wrong!

I got it too. But Hawaii doesn't allow gambling.

If Texas ever opens Las Vegas style casinos I probably will never go back to Vegas.

You know as well as I do the odds would be HORRIBLE on all the games here if they did...

I got the survey. I'm not into sports betting either in person or online, even though it's legal here in Illinois so the survey ended when I chose "none of the above". LOL

Didn't Colorado just vote removing the betting limits in casinos from $100 per bet to the discretion of the casino? I think it becomes active in May.

Ameristar St Charles emailed me a survey specifically asking about sports betting, since it’s already legal in three states bordering Missouri, Illinois, Iowa and Tennessee. I do some college and pro football betting in LAS, but wouldn’t miss it if Missouri chose not to allow it. I wonder if the lines are all the same regardless of who’s setting the lines among the various entities?

Never got the survey....if casino gambling is legalized in Texas, I will probably never go to Las Vegas again.

Be careful what you wish. Missouri legalized gambling about thirty years ago via a petition drive that placed it on the ballot. For a while due to how poorly the law was written by our General Assembly, slot machines went away for a while, In order for craps to remain legal, the law was changed to making it a game of skill. I jokingly said that craps is a game of chance, but the skill is knowing how to bet. The best one was that Missouri had to endure a $500 loss limit per player every two hours for fourteen years before that law was repealed. Also don’t expect round the clock drinking and gambling if you’re so inclined, or free drinks for that matter.

I would have to agree to that as in airfare and commute alone I could play for free.
At first I thought if no free drinks :nono: no go but I wouldn’t be on vacation.....more day trippin’. so ok. :)
Always envisioned  “area” casinos —-Dallas/ FW, Austin, San Antonio, Houston, El Paso, Brownsville. Corpus Christi, etc. not state wide (to control the urge——. Hey—-we still have dry  counties, bub).
But everyone’s within driving of ONE location for the “fix”. :nworthy:
And Benny Binion was from Texas so maybe it wouldn’t be so :headbang: uneventful..... (like electrical producers or right of way lawyers happen to tend). o_O:eek::confused:
