I may have just overlooked this in the past, but anyone else just now notice that now Mlife offers now state:

FREEPLAY valid on first trip only. Must maintain historical play level to redeem on subsequent trips.”

or maybe this is just noted to me because I played them light earlier this month on a comp?

BTW. My offer is up to 4 nights, 250/150, no resort fees any property

I didn’t see offers for nearly a year. Host couldn’t figure it out. Within the last 3 months they went crazy. Going Super Bowl weekend. 1200 freeplay and 1000 resort.

My offers say that too; also never noticed. Perhaps they always said that. I've been on six offers in past two years, always get the freeplay.

My offers stay fairly static.... they increased for one month recently, then reverted to same level. It's not much free play. I guess my play is adequate to keep the moderate freeplay coming.

I think it is understood that if you don't maintain play, your offers will go down. But it makes sense that they don't want people who are walking from MLife to book multiple offers and burn through a lot of freeplay. This gives the hotel a way to reject that approach.

My freeplay has always been minimal. Hardly puts a dent in my outlay. I'd trade my free play in for resort credit at 3:1 if the offered it.

Interesting, I never noticed it before and it’s on all of my offers except for MGM Grand.

That is new. Shows up in bold on all my offers except MGM Grand. I'm sure their IT messed it up..lol. Figures since I burned them in Nov and Dec on no play trips.

Yeah I'd say that's new. I had looked at the T&Cs for my current offer earlier this month and it wasn't there, now it is.

It's still pretty vague, but they're covering their ass.

I don't think I've ever actually ended up having two stays on the same offer. If you're on a monthly cycle, I think technically each month is a separate offer. Which is not to say they wouldn't still yank your FP if you booked separate offers and then stiffed them on the first one.

It’s certainly new. I have that disclaimer now and was looking at a screenshot I took a few months ago, and that didn’t have it.

Agree that it's new, but I assume that's because of the extended timeframe of recent offers. Instead of being valid for a month or a couple of months, I see my offers as being good through year end. So it's MLife's way of having some protection: if I were to book 5 offers for the year, and burn them on the first 2, they're not going to want to provide the same FP/RC on the 3rd and beyond.

I have always had offers valid for the entire calendar, almost a full year out.

It might have something to do with me being from Europe?

The words are new. But the policy is there as always.
I guess now they just make it explicit after too many inquiries.
Before COVID, I usually had 1 trip per month, occasionally more than 1 per month, so I encountered that.

I was told this in person 2 trips ago.

I was there for 2 weeks and booked 3 separate one nighters at MLife to take advantage of the free play and dining. I often do not stay there when I book these, as I smoke and don't want a nonsmoking room. On my third stay, I got the free play but was warned I wasn't playing enough and it may be denied in the future.

On my last trip, everything went smoothly and I got my free play without any issues. But I suspect I will have a problem on my next trip as I low played my Luxor "stay". Not sure why they just don't revoke future offers entirely.

Guessing they hope if you come back, you just might spend enough to cover their costs.

I don't think it's related to being in Europe.

For a long time, MLife put out offers on roughly a quarterly basis and the booking window was around 5 - 6 months.

But a few years ago, they switched most people to a monthly cycle and around the same time, the booking window started to go out a year.

I've only been getting offers for a few years, but they've always had a window of ~12months

I booked an offer in November, and they told me this over the phone (though there was nothing in writing). I went back in December under the same offer. The Player's Club said something to the effect of "looks like you were here about a month ago, so you can get the freeplay again". I usually do about $10k coin in per trip.
