On a serious note, I'm looking in my apartment at a lot of $$ I spent on nice things I not only didn't need but sorta just wanted. A lot, when I look at it now, doesn't "spark joy" though hopefully it will for someone else, whether I sell or donate it. Will never be as minimalist as you but I hope to be my own version of it. :) This is going to be a major project for me -- yeah, I have that much stuff -- but I am looking forward to getting it all done by the first day of spring, with proceeds going in my Vegas account. :)

What an amazing trip @eliza !!! Definitely would have checked out many similar food places, and I love that you did wine pairings!!!

    Man, I'm hungry now.

I often travel with only the one pair I wear on the plane.

Packed up and heading out. Thought maybe I’d get moving in time for a nice breakfast on my way out, but I slept in instead. And honestly can’t stomach the idea of a large meal right now. I’m foodied out. I ate so well this trip. But going forward, I think I’ll stick to at most one planned/fancy/long meal per day and keep it casual for the rest.

Stopped at Ronalds donuts to pick up breakfast - I’ll eat at the airport. Or plane. I’m sure I’ll be hungry at some point.

Had just a few minutes to kill. So I stopped at one more new (to me) casino - Tuscany. This place has some charm. It also has a $.01 50 play STP machine. Someone was in it, so I couldn’t check pay tables and other denoms, but it has to be better than the CET version, right?

Counted up my bankroll last night. Up $2,200. So, as long as I don’t go total degen at airport, I will be coming home with a nice bonus. Almost enough to pay for all my food. :D

When are you going back? I still cannot believe how fast this went. You arrive 2 weeks after I got home and I still have not unpacked.

Won $200 at the airport. Always nice to go out on a win. I’ll be back. I don’t know when, but soon, I’m sure. I have a bunch of February FP - so maybe end of Feb/beginning of March. Depends on my work schedule.

Enjoyed it. :p As others have said, the prime rib loft at Orleans is excellent :feedme: although simple in menu. I’ve eaten at the bar as well as table pre-covid. With 10x video poker for points, run through 8k or so for 80k points or so. 600 points equal a dollar food / beverage comp.:woohoo: so that’s like 113$ food comp off the top of my head (others are probably more coherent). Thanks again for taking us along.....for free. :drunk:

On my road trips to Vegas with my dad the Hacienda Casino was our first stop after passing the dam. I would have my first Vegas beer there and it was the site of my best win on the Tarzan slot. Thanks for sharing your trip.

What a great ending to your trip! Sweets and Tuscany, a place I really like actually and live music has already returned.
    Safe travels back home!
