Last week I played at Four Queens and put in over 1,000 points to get an extra $100 free play. I also asked for the promised "Jeweled Ox" but was told by the boothling that they did not arrive yet so it would be mailed to me. She asked me to confirm my address. Although the promo extends to February, I was told that the Free play and oxen is one time only per customer.

The offer available to all is below.

Doh, I'm going out next weekend to earn mine. I guess it's OK if they mail it, but I'd rather take it home with me...

I hope the Ox looks better than the Rat given out for the 2020 lunar new year which was pretty scary.

I've gotten one every year for the last 6 years I believe. Does anyone have any idea how many years they have been giving them out? Just curious!

I'm collecting the Harrahs Lake Tahoe statuette series. Hope they don't eliminate it before I get all 12.

Rat = not cute. The Tahoe statuette series = cute!

Come on 4Q - up your game!

Assuming @DaiLun 's last photo of the Tahoe series is year of the rat, it is almost as cute as Mickey Mouse. A far cry from the Four Queens/Binion's Scary Rat with the odd internal compartment.

Actually VP went to $16.00 a point back in October.

There are different coin-in requirements per point depending on the game/machine. The $1 10/7 DB is $20 per point. The VP at the bars are $16 and the $1 9/6 jacks are still $8. I think the 100 play machines are $20 per point.

When people refer to playing VP (any volume of it, but especially large volumes) at Four Queens, I automatically presume that they camp out at a bartop, and usually at Mike's Bar. Who actually plays VP there out on the floor?

Indeed, the 100-play machines near Magnolia's are $20 per point.

I play the $1 9/6 JOB on the floor to maintain my offers. I camp out at the .25 DDB bartops for my recreation.

I don't think I've ever played a bartop hand at 4q, I spend 8 to 10 uncomfortable hours a day at the JoB uprights. Used to play the 10-7 DB progressives, but now just plain old JoB for me.

Just confirming that they are still saying they're mailing them out at the player's club. Also $16 per point for the bartops is accurate. I'm staying at Four Queens right now.

There is zero chance that I would play a lot at the bartops. I have to grind at the uncomfortable 9/6 $1 uprights to keep me rated at Diamond. My play is similar to @kimbaed and I'll fart around at the 0.25 DDB in Chicago's while eating.

I've been collecting them since either 2005 or 2006 and that wasn't necessarily the beginning.
