Is anyone aware if this is being processed by NYNY like it has been in the past? Basically a $35 off?

From the MyVegas Friends Rocks group, it looks like it's a true 2 for 1 now.

I'll be solo, so that's bad news.

We just used it November 2020. The $35 was loaded onto my players card so was still a credit and could use it for anything. If it has changed when you go to redeem it at the players club, just let them know you won't be redeeming it, and return it on the myvegas app, you'll get your gold coins returned. Since it's not a premium reward it does not count towards the premium limit.

I think NFI is closed. I was planning to stop in 2 weeks from now and had bought a 2for1 that I just refunded.

It’s a true 2/1 now. They were also strict that it has to be entrees, not apps.

In a party of 4 do you think they will let us use 2 (2 separate checks)?

I just checked on this myself. Probably not. It says only one reward may be redeemed per table.
Never hurts to call ahead, though.

Been hunting this one a few times a day for 2 months and it was always "sold out". Checked this morning and it showed "1 Left" and I snagged it.

I used it on 2 ribeye steaks to go yesterday. It's maxed out at $35 (ribeye was $36.99 if I remember correctly) and I can't tell you what that means. Is it really BOGO? What I can say is the two times I've used it, the two different bartenders were trying to figure out how to apply it so it's possible they might let you get away with more than what's in the terms.

At Best Friend, it was a straight $16 off. Not the comp starter the reward says. I didn't even order a starter.

It seems because of the pandemic things are more YMMV than usual. Like at Wolfgang Puck bar, 1st time I had to dine in (I wanted takeout) but got away with ordering just one cocktail instead of two drinks. Took my free entree to go. Second time had to be dine in, had to order two drinks and took my free entree to go. Third time, I took everything to go and got a cocktail and a beer. At Lupo they let me just order takeout with two bottles of beer.

So ask, but don't be surprised if they say no. When vacationing in these strange times, it's important to be super flexible, curb your enthusiasm, and go with the flow, dude.
