    My Trip Report

Well getting ready to board to Vegas. Drove from Up North to Louisiana(family here). Riding out to meet my bud. Yearly trip, usually as many as 5 of us but for obvious reasons scaled down.
Airport had one food kiosk, enough to grab a burger and double Gin and Tonic, Have my selection of vitamins and masks. Looking forward to wild card weekend and college football championship. Well, and lots of good meals!
Airport is quiet, Tuesday helps. 2 nights at Park MGM 120$, not too shabby. Then off to my buds time share. Will post some more or will try at least. Always a fan of this site, not as many posts as i’d like so far. 20 year veteran. Been coming as many as 3x but last few just one. I’ll definitely share my thoughts on the restrictions and the wins!! Happy New Year!!

Park Mgm quiet, most everything closed except floor and bar in center of casino. Waylay finishing up as well. So went for secret pizza and my favorite west coast beer 805. Got a pretty sweet room on the top floor also. not sure if special or standard. i’ll post the video if i can figure out the upload. might be an early night if i don’t get drunk as the horses will gallop soon. Have reservations at Catch and Zuma tomorrow so will cancel one depending on what my homie prefers when he arrive tomorrow. stay tuned.

Good luck and have a good time. My wife and I have stayed at lots of different timeshares in Vegas. Can you give us a quickie review of the resort if you get a chance?

Good Morning from the desert mecca. Last night was a starter pack. Easing into the weekend. Ended up at Aria and losing 160$ in blackjack as I played what looked like through a bank teller as plexiglass with an opening and dividers on either side was the way to play. I tell you what I feel safe and thank the casinos for making things feel safer, sanitizer, hand washing station on a casino floor. Never seen that? Took a walk around mid strip, Walgreens at Planet Hollywood has a walk in beer cooler. Ha picked up one of these beauties for $3 below. Up at 5:30M with the east coast time difference. Checked the market then in and out of sleep. Wife woke me up to tell me my son is half asking his online home schooling on Zoom. (he’s 7, attention span is well....growing. He sure is missing in school with his friends, Hopefully be back soon, for everyone’s sake) I gotta say my wife is amazing, the best, she lets me take my yearly boys trip. Been doing these trips for 20yrs, some with her but most with a various collection of buds, only the last 4 with this current crew and my buds timeshare instead of on the strip .She never gives me shit. Guess i’ll get up and research the plays of the day. Get some ponies in this morning. Excited for NFL Playoffs Think Bills may be fav bet of weekend. Sister in law gave me $100 to put on the Saints. -10 is tricky. But i’ll probably double up the bet with her. I’ll take some pics of receipts. Alright thanks for following. Once I get lubed up later i’ll prolly be more entertaining lol!

Heading over there today and I’ll give you the low down. I believe it’s the Wyndham Grand Desert. We have stayed here 3/4 years. I do like being off strip as give me a chance to clear my head. Also has a kitchen so we make coffee, stock the fridge with beer and water! I also like to morning plunge in the jacuzzi every morning. Cold desert feels good and helps sweat out the prior evening. Lastly the run shuttles to and from Bally’s or Trop hourly (i’ll confirm which) As far as pricing i’m not sure. I’ll ask, usually split it up with the boys.

Where are you planning on watching the games? I was considering heading to Circa but not sure yet! Looking forward to catching the games in my favorite city.

My bud picked me up this afternoon in the red golf cart rental. Starting off in typical fashion off for lunch At Fuku Burger, splash a couple 805’s and some pretty choice burgers. Number two with the soft egg was banging. Then all the items needed, goodies at the wellness center allegedly, then shopping for beer coffee and water, lastly extra cash at the non fee atm. Made it to the Wyndham Grand Desert back tower.
Amazing in year 43 how Vegas has changed. Anyone else trip change dramatically over the years?
So much better paced and chill instead of feeling like you need all of Vegas nonstop.
Chilling at the Cosmo watching hoops currently, small bet on Clippers. Dinner at Catch in Aria at 9.
Let me ask you all a question.
Is there a preferred betting style for the sportsbook?I try and do it all at one book, so as not needing to chase winning tickets all over town. Just never happens......anyways thx for reading
