Actually it was quite nice. Not too many people, and everyone I saw was wearing a mask. Actually, I am proud of us New York folks. We have, for the most part, have been pretty good in following rules. That is why our numbers have been pretty much nothing for a while now. Considering where we were before, this is great for now!!! Keeping our fingers crossed. Go to the mall. It's all good there!!

Don't want to hijack @UKFanatic's thread but for folks who live outside of New York State, in most of New York State indoor dining with capacity controls is permitted. In New York City specifically, however, there is no indoor dining and, indeed, Mayor de Blasio just stated a few days ago that there may not be indoor dining in New York City for the rest of the year.

A good portion of NJ is operating similarly to NYC in terms of indoor dining, hence no indoor dining in AC.

Update: Starting Sept 30th NYC will allow 25% indoors restaurants (no bars and no buying a bag of chips hack allowed). Casinos have reopened. Resorts World NYC is open now. If the infection rate doesn't spike and compliance is high, NYC will consider upping the indoor occupancy to 50%. This will make NYC at the same level as the rest of the state.

Yep, positive news though I'm still so skittish about indoor dining but very happy for the restaurants. Hopefully the infection rate will remain under control with everyone doing their best to comply and occupancy can be increased.

I assumed I had posted my NFL season wagers in another thread, but I guess this old TR from August was the only place I listed them. So anywho, seems as good a place as any to report my results with the season ending today.

I ended up winning seven and losing three, for a 27% return! Very happy about that result. Of course, this season was the smallest amounts I have bet on an NFL regular season in almost a decade. So inevitably, my 27% return is the best I have done in over four years, lol. Oh well. A win is a win, so I will take it.

I always do a post mortem, especially on the losing wagers, to try and learn more for next season. The Dallas wager was just awful! My analysis of their defense and special teams was just flat out wrong. Combine that bad analysis with questionable coaching decisions in multiple games and that guaranteed my worst beat of this season. Even if Dak hadn't gotten hurt, they weren't getting to 10 wins. Oh well.

I missed my Ravens bet by half a game. That wager is frustrating because I don't think I made a mistake. I anticipated offensive regression. The regression on both sides, though, was a little worse than I expected because of injuries/virus. That was just bad luck for me. They really should have won two more games. That freakin New England game was lost because of bad weather. If they had pulled that off against a clearly inferior team, I would have been in the money.

Finally, I missed on the Rams and know precisely why. I underrated Goff coming into the season. He still didn't set the world on fire this year, but he was at least one grade better than he was last season. I didn't expect that from him. Frankly, they probably should have won two more games also. So I was lucky this bet was even close.

Fun season, all things considered. I am also more excited for this postseason than I have been the past couple years. The lack of true homefield advantages combined with some key injuries on teams combined with a lot of parity this year, I think it could be a wild month. At the very least, I expect a lot of close games.
