I've been there once, will be going back in Feb (hopefully) with a Vegas Virgin. I wanna go for just for the vibe and drinks but what's actually good on the menu?

I had the ribeye, comes with salad and potato. Portions were huge. Waitress asks if we want bread. Of course we want bread, like we need more food that we can’t eat. It was all good. My friend’s wife ordered the pancakes at dinner, finished maybe a fourth of it. Not the most high end steak you’ll find in Vegas, but I’d definitely repeat.

When drunk, chicken fried steak, breakfast style :drooling:

When sober, everything on the menu tastes like Dennys quality food, so order accordingly. :shy:

Eggs over easy, home fries, bacon, rye toast, OJ to knock it all down.

Around 4 am, it's the greatest thing in the entire goddamned world.

Over the years I haven’t been a fan, but I can live with the breakfast stuff lately. Atmosphere is way better than the food in my opinion. HUGE portions...

All I've ever done there was breakfast, and it is good.

Breakfast. But portions are larger than they appear in the mirror.

Tried to go in last Nov, but the whole area was ripped up, and dust flying in the air.
Hard to even find parking, so we left.

I will take Ellis island breakfast over Peppermill these days. I think it tastes better and costs less.

    Monte Carlo omelet.

But, if I want a big omelet, i got to the Omelet House on Charleston/Rancho. Homey little spot, just north of Palace Station. 2/3 the price of Peppermill and the food is great.

The correct answer is a Scorpion. Any food that accompanies it is a bonus. :poke:

Seriously, most always very late night breakfast food. That biscuits and gravy will soak up an incredible amount of alcohol. Or, so I've heard.

I've tested that theory and can attest that it does in fact soak up alcohol while replacing it with a considerable amount of calories. But let us remember, sacrifices must be made for the greater good of the community. There's nothing wrong with throwing yourself on the gravy grenade to save the platoon.

I believe that it is against the law for any calories to count in Las Vegas. That's just science. :haha:

Biscuits & gravy. Or a skillet. Maybe it was a biscuits & gravy skillet? Hubs had an omelet and asked how many eggs - oh, maybe 8 or so [this was a few years ago - not sure if it's the same - but the lightly beaten eggs/egg product are in a big crock and ladled into the skillet]

I have had steaks, omelets, huge pancakes and biscuits and gravy. Every time we have been there the food was "good", but the wife and I agree that eating there when drunk as hell makes us happy.

I just google some pictures of the portions. Do they offer a Pepto Brulee afterwards? Maybe a Tumstini to wash it all down with?
