Is there anyone else that doesn’t care for the colors specifically in the Wynn rooms?

There’s something about them that I never feel at ease when I stay there. This may sound odd, but They remind me of the living room in my parents house. Even though I love Everything else about the Wynn, thats the single reason why I stay there Infrequently.

Encore is better and my choice between the two, but still not great.

I have a buddy that won’t stay at the Wynn because of how “bright and girly” the rooms are. He likes the black decor at Encore.

Just got back from two nights in a Bellagio Lakeview Suite (# 21001). It was an amazing room with 2 1/2 baths and 2 terraces overlooking the fountains (one of which has entrances from both the living area and the bedroom). While I wouldn't use the word "worn", I would say that the decor has become dated. The base level room I stayed in this summer had obviously been remodeled more recently and looked fresher.

The dated decor in the Lakeview Suite didn't really bother me, but it might not be to some people's liking. I do think it's time for them to do a refresh on those suites if they want to continue to command high room rates/high rollers and maintain the Bellagio's prestige on the strip.

I think that the Bellagio is still one of the best places to stay on the strip. I do not think that the rooms are worn out at all.

Bellagio hasn't been in the top 5 since Wynn sold it. MGM ruined a lot of what made it special.

The rooms aren't terrible, but they're not 5-star kept. It's a lot like how Mandarin let their rooms go to hell and then just sold it to WA to avoid a refurb.

Depends on the room it sounds like. I think everything in the penthouse suite we stayed in a couple weeks ago was 100% perfect condition and working order, with the single exception of 1 of the 2 lamps on the bed. It worked, but the adjustment wingnut as stripped and jammed, so you couldnt move it. The steam room leaked a little bit, but not enough that a single hand towel couldnt soak it up. Oh oh! I forgot, the TV in the bedroom had problems too. Seemed like a network problem. Kept on skipping/buffering and was unwatchable. The other 3 TVs worked great and we even used the living room DVR. Cypress suite we were in a few months back had poor cleaning service, but everything else in the room was otherwise in perfect working order to my recollection.

What happened to MO was a tragedy.

None of the Casino hotels in LV are truely 5*. The only thing in LV that is really 5* is the FSH.

You get 5 star service if you stay in a hotel within a hotel. The Mansion, Skylofts, Aria Sky Villas, Wynn's Villas, etc.
Unfortunately no one building is completely 5 star. That includes Four Seasons since if you want a casino you have to use Mandalay Bay's. But on its own, Four Seasons is absolutely 5 stars. Just wish they had bigger bath tubs, showers, and motorized drapes.

We stayed at Bellagio for the first time in late October. Supposed to have a Salone Suite from the spouse's 4 night offer. No rooms available at check-in at 4:00 on a Friday afternoon. With no prompting from us, desk clerk went over to her supervisor, came back and said "I really think you'll like this room, it's much nicer!" Imagine our surprise when we opened the door to our 30th floor two bedroom, four and a half bathroom fountain view suite. Very curious as to why we received such a major upgrade? The spouse had an amazing run of handpays the previous year during our annual visit. Anyone know why we were able to get that incredible upgrade? We did give her $20 after the fact.

We usually stay at Mandalay Bay and Delano and prefer the 'quieter' end of the strip and the restaurant choices in that area. Our Bellagio room wasn't worn, but there were a few places that had some scuff marks and scratches. The decor and color palette was a bit over the top, but still beautiful in it's own way. We agreed we will never stay in a nicer room in Vegas. It was great because we did spend more time in the room than normal, with more things being closed around us.

This sums it up perfectly. It went from Wynn exquisite to MGM Vanilla.
