After dinner we came back to Bellagio and slotted for a few, I did ok for a short run on some 9 line quarter machines I found over by Snacks during our 30 minute wait for @luck.ofthe.draw 's weird hot dog. Got the multiple bonus wheels twice and a nice multiplier line hit that combined for about 100.25 and didnt lose it all back so that was not bad. Bellagio casino was killing us for about 36 hours straight.

I know y’all like happy hours, Ferraro’s has a great one in their lounge and patio. My niece and I would go there before concerts at Hard Rock.

    Happy birthday to me!

Then we took a walk over to Cosmo for a little slotting with another friend. We didnt do it on purpose, but coincidentally happened to walk just as the Fly Me to the Moon fountain show was going on, so we had some great walkin' music (ok I was strutting a little) and stopped to take in the show for a second from the bridge.

    20201126_191813.jpg 20201126_191828.jpg

Then I had some streaks of greatness at Cosmo. I played the Christmas Vacation slot mostly just to hold it for Luck while she ran to use the bill changer, and I hit the Hap-happiest Christmas of All bonus, which is roughly the same thing as the passenger bonus on the old Airplane! slot. There are 6 possible mini-bonuses you can get, and I got 5 of them, and ended up cashing out afterward with about 250% of what I put in. Then I hit Top Dollar on 2 adjacent machines and got a good pay on one of them, decent on the other. And hit triple 7's on my second spin of another 5 line reel. But, I also played a money suck 4-screen quick hit newer game and the Buffalo Rush reel slot, each of which took me for 50 or 75 bucks so boo. But we had a good time and did a little socializing so it was a win!

Then on the walk back, again by coincidence, we caught the tail end of the In the Mood fountain show, which is maybe my current favorite. Caught a few more pics from the bridge on the walk back.

So, luck has just gone and I've become a vagrant in Las Vegas. I was in the last flight from Dallas to home tonight, and my flight to Dallas was delayed over an hour by mechanical issues, so we get a bonus 1 day solo trip now.

Question: can anyone disambiguate the rooms at Harrahs between deluxe and premium and what the hell is city view (west facing?) Probably going to grab Ballys or PHo but would consider Harrahs for the low comp value and using my free meal at Wynn.

Well, never mind about Harrah's. I was just remarking the other day how I'd like to try Cromwell for a night some time, so I made a command decision. They sure do treat you nice at most Caesars properties with a Diamond+ no problem getting in at 1130am 10 minutes after booking it, gave me a pretty decent view all things considered and asked me what time is checkout rather than telling me lol.

Wont stay here again though, mini bar but no fridge, which is why I didnt just stay at Caesars Palace in the first place. Otherwise, the room is very nice for something the size of a closet.

Dont wanna jinx it, but Cromwell was nice so far. Lost only about 10 bucks on the reel slots in 50 tier credits, then won $186 something from a 38 cent spin on Fa La Laa

Went over to Flamingo to see if they still had Lucky Lines - the one I knew about is gone too. They seem to have disappeared from Vegas. I knew of them at Bellagio, Ballys, 2 at Paris, and Flamingo, and all of those are gone. But I tried a few spins at the newer Whales of Cash Rising Jackpots and that went pretty well for an 88 cent bet

I was going to say there is one at Planet Hollywood in front of the Total Rewards desk that I play all the time. Nice to know it’s still there.

Waiting for food at Giada now to take back to the room. I went on maybe the biggest heater of my life, not in dollar amount, but in sheer winning, for about 2 hours at PHo, then, like a true degenerate, gambled almost all of it away with bigger bets. Daily tier credit bonus is secured at the 500 TC level, approaching 1000 but forgot to check TC before gaming. Got lazy staying at MLIfe and Cosmo all year.

I hit bonuses and big pays at least once on damn near every quarter machine at PHo. Even got 3 retriggers on a wild reds super sevens for 48 free spins lol. I just quit taking pictures at some point if it was much under $100

The first one was the $205 middle progressive on 777 sunshine. I also won the low progressive on each of 2 other machines of the same game.

Had my Giada. There was a bit of a mishap. I ordered their cheese and pepper bucatini. They serve two kinds. They made me the wrong one, didnt really notice until I got to the room and took a bite and there was fire in my throat (though I was pretty sure there wasnt supposed to be red sauce on mine, but you know, Vegas, famous name chef, never know what to expect).

So, I went back, told em it was the wrong bucatini. Three or four employees apologized to me, they gave me whatever I wanted free from the bar, and the manager in a suit hand delivered the correct order with yet another apology and offer for pretty much anything else I wanted. I thought that was pretty good customer service for a slight screw up so I thought I'd share. Also, the "fire sh*ts" bucatini is going straight in the trash cause it will make me real sick, but pictured is both. The correct one was pretty ok.

See, @luck.ofthe.draw leaves and the food porn goes in the crapper. Brown bag fancy spaghetti off the coffee table with Bad Santa on the TV. It was food. Not what I wanted but my food choices here were Giada or starve. Center strip area is SUPER packed tonight like there's no virus going around, and lots of sketchy people with no masks on mixed in the crowd. I wanted nothing to do with crowds, which has a lot to do with how I ended up at Cromwell in the first place, so Giada was the winner. 20201127_195034.jpg

Oh, speaking of crowds, forgot to mention, when we got back to Bellagio from dinner last night, the self parking lot was full. Not sure if that's a reflection of the number of guests or just people exploiting the free center strip parking. But it was very crowded when we left this morning. And I'm looking out my window right now, and the turn lane into Bellagio is backed up to Flamingo.

Love Giada. Great bread and the view of the strip is one of the best in Vegas...

Yep they had one at Bellagio when we stayed there in July, quarter denom only, $5 minimum. Fully planned to wash the entirety of my couple hundred in free play through it but it's gone too. I'm sure it may still exist elsewhere but that's the only MLife one I knew of. Havent really played at MGM. Almost went there yesterday but we opted for Mirage instead.

All packed in now to try and get some sleep before leaving earlier tomorrow to make sure I dont get stuck again. I cant afford another bonus day of gambling and my poor dog is lonely. Has been quite a trip and I can't believe I have plans to do it all over again, but different, just slightly over 3 weeks from now. I have so many pictures I didnt share while I was being a degenerate and or having adventures and neglecting my TR for a couple days. Perhaps I'll share some more when I'm home and can go through em on a PC.

One of my biggest takeaways is I still want nothing to do with Vegas on a weekend, and if you care about social distancing and general covid precautions, you probably don't either. What little walking around I did today, the center strip area was indistinguishable from this time last year. Escalators, walkways, and sidewalks were packed like sardines, and by the time I left Planet Hollywood around 6pm, the casino was getting pretty dense as well. The room at Cromwell is not for me at all (I can see why table players on solo trips would love it though), but it was a champion choice for tonight. The rear section of Cromwell casino is about the only place I saw since mid afternoon that wasnt just packed like normal pre-covid Vegas. Sunday until mid day Thursday though was really great. Had the run of all the casinos, and while it wasnt a ghost town, nothing was really crowded anywhere either. I'm pretty shocked at the size of the crowds in the last 36 hours.

Just heard the last fountain show of my trip blowing off across the road. Time to try and get some sleep.

And speaking of sleep, y'all ever seen that Seinfeld episode with the Kenny Roger's Roasters? This was right outside our window at Bellagio; this is the view from the bed - and unless the blackout curtains were shut, it was bright red-orange inside the bedroom with all the lights off :kill:
