I'll be checking in tomorrow 11/18-11/23 to Bellagio and have been checking every so often on available rooms. I hope to do a $50 Sandwich and thanks to members help here, i hoped for at least a RTK room.
BEFORE this week it was available but gone now when i check.
Did they close the Resort Tower like they did with the Spa Tower?

Also, i see lots of available Suites(Salon, etc) now on my dates. I highly doubt they'll offer me one for $50 and i booked the cheapest room.

I think they might be sold out or just unavailable to book online for some reason. I also don’t think there is an abundance of these rooms compared to resort king and queen rooms, but I could be wrong I’m not a Bellagio expert.

They haven't closed the main tower.

It's hard to tell what you're looking at.

If you are just looking at regular retail prices to check to see what inventory they might have, then it depends on what you mean by "RTK." I think you mean the 626 SF rooms on the left corner as you face the building.

There's two on each floor. They break them into two room types,
Resort Tower King (on the back side)
Tower Fountain View King (on the front side)

So there's only one of each type on each floor. If they are sold out for any night in your date range, it won't show up. It's not that surprising that they would be sold out for at least one night of your range at this point. You can still take a shot at it when you check in.

More Salone Suites exist and they're more expensive. So the RTKs probably sell out faster. More people can afford to pay for them, and more people can get them comped.

There’s only one tower (fountain view) king room on each floor (they’re located at the south end of the hallway). There’s a possibility that due to the limited inventory they have sold out of that particular room type. Still worth asking for one at check in, as the front desk often has access to rooms that are not showing up on the website. I stayed in one of the tower fountain view king rooms last year, and it’s a great layout. The extra windows and larger bathroom are a nice upgrade! Good luck with the $50 trick, and enjoy your visit!

    Thank you.
Yes, Resort Tower King 625 SF. 2 sinks in the bathroom etc.
I didn’t know it’s 2 per floor only and it makes sense they might be not available for my dates of 11/18-11/23.

If they closed the resort tower, while the spa tower is closed, that means they closed Bellagio.

Fountain View Kings aren't shabby. If you stay in one, remind yourself of the greatly reduced walk to your room.

I had a Resort Tower Fountain View in October. It was very nice; glad I got it. But there were several times during the stay that Id have considered it an upgrade to be able to step off the elevator and be a few paces from my room.

As mentioned there are not very many of these. I do feel like they are sometimes held back from online booking for some reason, so they may in fact be available for upgrade/host booking even if there appears to be no inventory.

I’m checking in tomorrow to a resort tower king room. I like the bigger bathroom/more windows.

As others have pointed out already, a very limited number of these rooms compared to the standard rooms so they have much less availability.

Does anyone know for certain how many of the resort tower kings there are per floor? I've assumed that there are a total of four... two fountain view, two mountain view

I was in the fountain view at the south end in October.... side windows facing Cosmo...

I've read posts that there are only tower kings at the south end . But, clearly, there is a Tower King at the north end

    Anyone know for certain?

I know there is only 1 Tower Fountain View King on each floor. They are on the south end of the main tower near Cosmo. The rooms on the Fountain side of the main tower on the north end of the building near CP are Fountain View Salone Suites.

I don't know how many Resort Tower Kings that are non Fountain View there are per floor.

The x42 rooms (south wing) have the fountain view with the side window facing Cosmo. The x83 (north wing) rooms have the Caesars/mountain view. The x126 rooms (west wing) have the pool/mountain view.

So - 3 per floor with one being fountain view.

Interesting. The fixtures and trim in that pic with Caesars out the window definitely match an RTK, not a Salone. And that's definitely the Augustus Tower at CP, which means that particular room is in the north section of the main wing (not the wing sticking out the back).

My impression was that the fountain facing corner room on that north end of the building was a Salone Fountain View (I still think that's correct). So I also assumed the room on the other side of the hall (facing the mountains) was also a Salone (with no FV).

I never tried to figure out why they'd have a 626 SF room at one end and an 853 SF room at the other, not that everything has to be symmetrical, lol.

So I've been thinking this as far as RTK and FVK:

But I think what @snoop-a-loop is saying is this:
    upload_2020-11-22_18-56-36.png

Although in that case, I'd kinda also expect there to be an RTK on the other side of the hall in the west wing (sticking out the back).

Close. Starting in the South Wing:
x41 facing west towards the pool is a Salone Suite
x42 facing the fountains is a Resort Tower King Fountain view

    The North Wing:
x80 facing the fountains is a Salone Suite Fountain view
x83 facing west towards the mountains is a Resort Tower King

    The West Wing:
x125 on the north side facing Caesars/mountains is a Salone Suite
x126 on the south side facing the pool/mountains is a Resort Tower King

The end caps are all Resort Tower King on one side and Salone Suite on the other.
