Dinner at Piero's lived up to the reputation. @dbeluer and I were still a little full from MAG but you gotta do what you gotta do. I ordered the veal parm, which was fantastic. The veal was so tender. I started with an angula salad, which was good but was a tad tarte. I tasted a bit of @dbueler's Caesar salad, which was AMAZING. I think it had the best Caesars dressing I have ever tasted. She had the ravioli, which was very good.

The service was extremely attentive, in a very old school way. The place got full quickly though there were foot high plastic dividers between the booths where we were sitting.

Definitely come to Piero's hungry. Though there are a zillion Italian restaurants in Vegas, I'll be back. An extra nice touch was that my host arranged for transportation to Piero's and the driver dropped @dbueler off at Harrah's before we returned to Wynn.

As soon as I got back to Wynn it was almost time to to head over to XS for the Fluffy aka Gabriel Iglesias comedy show. The opening act was so so but Fluffy was funny. He's a very talented comedian. @dbeuler wanted to chill ar Harrah's so took a pass on the show so my host joined me and we caught up while I also got the scoop on NYE at Wynncore this year.

I played a bit and was doing poorly, then well, then poorly, then holding my own.

It is now 3 am and though I should be in bed I decided about an hour ago to do one more run to the room to get cash. I am glad I did. Hotroll has been on fire and while waiting for a hotroll handpay I got a handpay on Multi Streak Poker. I couldn't believe the missing 2 and a kicker showed up not just on one line but two. 20201121_182856.jpg 20201121_182943.jpg

My hands were shaking a bit and as I held the three Aces AND one kicker, I kept thinking, this is what @tringlomane would do! And then I had toes and eyeballs crossed for an Ace of Diamonds and I got one!!

And then, less than 15 minutes later, a monster handpay holding just 2 twos.

Yep. If you're not willing to hold the kicker in TDB, you're generally better off playing DDB instead! Not holding kickers will cost you about 0.7% in return which is HUGE.

    Amazing!

Amazing hand!! But of course, where is the multiplier?!?!?! :evillaugh: And getting that plus a dealt straight flush in one night? That's also crazy! Great run!

Re the multiplier, I agree. Lol. After I held the cards I was praying that the multiplier would then kick in. Lol..

Unbelievable to see this as I've been up since 5:00 am and here you are going to bed just now, and as I look out the window it's snowing here in Toronto... I hope my envy comes across as the entirely sincere compliment that it is :)

Congrats on all the wins! Glad to hear you enjoyed Piero's as well. Was Ian your server, by chance? I've had him twice and he's excellent. It's too bad that Piero's is rather out of the way, but that's awesome of Wynn to hook you up with that transportation. Cannot wait to see what today has in store!
