    My Trip Report

Happy Thanksgiving motherf@&#&s!! I began my non-Vegas portion of this trip yesterday with 13 intimate hours on American airlines. Leaving on the JSX tomorrow from California to Lassssss Vegas where we will be checking in to a fabulous room at the Cosmopolitan Las Vegas.

After having a blast following along live as @Laugh win at slots for his birthday, I've set up a Twitch account and fully intend to attempt a live stream from Cosmo some time tomorrow late afternoon or evening. My address there is https://m.twitch.tv/mcann123 so add it to the twitch app if you want notifications when I go live. Assuming I can figure out how to use the thing I may do it a few times while I'm in town.

@luck.ofthe.draw will be with me, so there will probably be a lot of food, especially at Cosmopolitan. We also have some reservations at Lago, Mon Ami Gabi, some italian joint she loves, I forget where else, and planning to try Parasol up or down or sideways one evening.

We also have reservations for Ethel Ms light up the night dealie. And maybe the Titanic exhibit, if we're allowed. I have a penthouse and $250 freeplay at Bellagio, and assuming the governor doesnt turn things upside down Tuesday, we'll be moving over from Cosmo to Bellagio then.

For today, I'm hanging with the luck in southern California. We haven't seen each other in a couple months so it's great to be here now!

And with that, ladies and gentlemen, Mr Conway Twitty!

I have had Parasol Down on my itinerary for the past 29834743847 itineraries and still have not made it there, even when I stayed there. I found a bunch of really old trip reports on my old PC and was surprised to discover I had actually been there about a decade ago. Whoops?

I hope you have a great trip! Curious to see what (if any) changes you notice since your last one.

I'm looking forward to following along. This will be so much fun, between this trip report and @Flowers' thread. (Have @luck's kitties given you their seal of approval?)

Ferraro's I-talian restaurant is thanksgiving dinner, but we're also getting the thanksgiving dinner from Mon Ami Gabi, probably with curbside pickup the prior day and have that in our room.

Yum, Ferraro’s. They do a happy hour in the lounge and patio that has small plates. My niece and I would eat there before concerts at Hard Rock. Nice glass of wine and sampling’s of 4-5 different shareable things for the cost of a regular dinner but way more options!

    Happy birthday to me!
Let’s check Garth off my nieces bucket list!

My first leg was rescheduled to earlier, second leg rescheduled to later, then duration of second leg changed from 3 hours 5 minutes to 3 hours 38 minutes, and that was all before travel day. On travel day, the plane we were supposed to take to burbank was broken, they tried to fix it. When it wasnt ready after a half hour delay, they gave us a gate change to replace equipment, then the second one had some kind of issue, so we got a second gate change and 3rd aircraft, which was just finishing a repair, so we were on it ready to push back but waited another half hour on maintenance paperwork before we could push back. Each gate change they delayed departure by 30 minutes to get people time to get to the gate, so we left DFW probably close to 2 hours late, and after the schedule changes for both flights my already long layover ended up being almost 5 hours.

That kind of shit always happens to me at DFW, hence SWA or UA via Denver.

Hopefully AA pays you back with some big hits and some extra tasty food.

I'll be more than happy to take a hand pay at this point. I'm down on the year enough for it to be tax free unless it's just enormous, which is also fine. Against all mathematical odds, I've never gotten one. We also have a trip planned around that time, and if it has to he cancelled for safety, so be it, but I'm real nervous about what may or may not happen Tuesday when we're already there and its 2 days before Thanksgiving.

The shy one jumped up on my lap this morning and got some chin scratches after nervously following me around watching from afar since I got here.:)

On another, non-Vegas note, we went to the Santa Monica Pier this morning and Palisades Park. And I just want to let everyone know, for the record, that I've been here fewer than 24 hours and already witnessed a person take a huge crap right on the pier in public. Did not get pictures, just got the eff outta there.

That’s pretty shitty. Hope you can avoid that type of display for the rest of the trip.

This is a teaching moment: The lesson is is that Luck moves to Florida, instead of you moving to Cali. :poke::poke::poke::poke:
