My best friend is watching the Indiana vs. Ohio State game, which he laid Ohio State -21, and its 42-35 with 5 minutes left.

Clemson was -35.5 vs Florida State and that game was cancelled.

Hard to bet the big lines in college during the covid era.

I've been kicking myself for not taking Indiana at 20.5.

I am surprised that Indiana was a 21 point dog.

I second that on laying that many points in a college football game.
Seen too many situations where the back door cover occurs in the 4th quarter.

And in College being down 15 to win is more doable with 5 minutes left ?

    And they covered.

I had a two-leg parlay that worked out:
    Minnesota +1.5
    Indiana +20

a few weeks ago I took BYU at -30.5 in a 3 card parley. They kicked a long field goal in garbage time with almost no time left to win by 31 after the others had covered. If anyone heard incoherent yelling in the bellagio that was me.

I have to agree with that one if it stays where it was. I've been a season ticket holder at FSU since I finished college there 20 years ago and I think this is the worst defense I've ever seen in Tallahassee. Clemson could likely have reached the over on their own. I was commenting to luck that even though I'm not a sports betting type, I'd probably place a bet on Clemson with the spread unless Travis is playing and Lawrence isnt, and even then it's not that unattractive. FSUs biggest threat on defense and best Oline player is out for the year with injury, 2nd string, most experienced quarterback and historically best receiver both left the program, and both sides of the ball are inconsistent, to put it nicely, trying to learn Norvell's game. The only reason it's not an absolute 100% sure thing is they still recruit some real talent, and those boys pretty frequently play their best games of the year when they are huge underdogs. I'd put money on a 35 point spread though. And the only reason I'd feel bad about the over is Dabo is a wise coach, so the entire second half could end up being garbage time.

How about Penn State going 0-5 this year? The worst start since the team began in 1887.

A couple weeks ago I picked Maryland to win +850 moneyline against PSU. A big $5 bet to win $42.50.

My predictions this week. Not overly confident. 2CB51BA2-8464-4B7B-9340-AC63831CA868.jpeg

U of M should cancel their game against OSU out of spite and then OSU most likely won't qualify for any post season.

It's a minefield. Lsu's best receiver is walking out this week before the Bama game. Ouch. Mississippi State is has played the past 2 weeks on the road against Georgia and Ole Miss with less than 50 scholarship players...and covered both spreads.
