A Different, But Hopefully Special, Thanksgiving Celebration -- Wynncore

Looks fabulous already. Will be following till I hopefully arrive on the 28th. Please governor, don’t shutdown again.

 

I was supposed to arrive on Tuesday the 24th and leave on the 30th but with covid numbers rising here in CA and having suseptable people in my parents house we arent going. Doesnt help that hubby needed emergency tooth surgery 10 days ago and then on day 7 had an allergic reaction to the antibiotics and looks like a lobster.

OMG Chef Theo just brought out this dessert.



And the waiter gave me some fig and fennel bread with the basil blossom butter to go.

 

That meal looks amazing. The octopus! The milanese! The butter! The wine! My jealousy is growing.

 

A Wynn Parlor Suite! It is truly a pleasure to read a report so replete with such obvious conspicuous consumption. Color me just a tad bit jealous. I generally scrape for a simple room at the Todd Motor Hotel—damn, it's closed. Sorry, just tongue in cheek. Have a great time Flowers.

So sorry to hear about hubby and your change in plans but sounds like it was the right move. Easier I know for me to say given that I am here but Vegas will be here when you are ready to return. In the meantime, I hope my TR brings a little of Vegas to you. And thank you for the good wishes.

That wine looks fabulous!! I love Italian reds - can't go wrong with the Tuscans.

And I love truffles! All of your dinner just looks divine - but man, tis the season for truffles and I've got to find some when I'm there!

Man you had thr best food already today while I was stuck in airports. I had a hot Italian sandwich from 7-11 on my flight , and my flight cost about the same! No fair!
