OK, I have to ask. I'm very sorry @Matty Ice was assaulted at 4Q, but you are thinking twice about staying downtown because of one reported incident? All the violence occurring on the Strip doesn't give you multiple reasons to not stay on the Strip?

Joe, I can’t speak for everyone, but I have been to Vegas twice since the reopening in spite of all the violence, let alone the Pandemic. For me it wasn’t necessary the incident that has me concerned, but the lack of accountability of The Four Queens. How a business handles a negative customer experience says a lot about that business. The Four Queens has proven to me they do not care about their guests or their guest’s safety. So yes, for me, this one incident will have me avoiding the Four Queens.

I think the reports that I have heard from downtown closely echo what @Matty Ice and others have said, in that it is a rougher crowd than normal, even moreso than the Strip. Understand there are things going on at the Strip resorts as well, but I feel that security has always been better at the Strip resorts than downtown, and the Strip resorts have responded to these incidents more seriously maybe than the downtown properties. While I don't love being searched or going through metal detectors to get into a casino, I applaud the Strip properties that have taken it to that extent to make their customers feel safe. And if we do end up staying on the Strip, I imagine I'll be hunkering down at the home casino after dinner and not out wandering the Strip or casino hopping, in an effort to avoid any undesirable circumstances.
