One night Vegas trip at the red rock

Well it’s official I’ve begun my one night trip to Red Rock Casino. Had a lot of issues with Southwest switching my flights finally got that straightened out and I have now arrived in our favorite town Las Vegas! I am going to try to keep this post as real time as possible please be aware sometimes my connections don’t always work. Hopefully I will have a lot of good pictures to show you plus score Italian restaurant is open and I have reservations for tonight!

Wow, that is a really nice room! What room type is it if you don't mind me asking.

 

Looks like their standard room. I haven't stayed there in so long...pics make me wish I'd booked it more often. Such great bathtubs.

Can I ask why you are only staying one night? That seems like such a quick trip, especially after an airplane ride.

Well finally made it up to the room! Wow I’ve never had a trip like this! Video poker sucked but the slots OMG

 

We made to the Italian restaurant, have to say it was good not great. I found a full bay leaf in my lasagna and when I brought it to their attention they just said ok. Personally I won’t go back

 

Room was a standard I have to admit the staff are amazing

Red Rock is definitely on my list of places to stay.

 

Nice looking room. Powerful standalone shower and comfy mattress are the must-haves for me, everything else is a bonus. I've always enjoyed RR, but they seem to me to be one of the hardest places in town to get a decent deal for a room. I feel like I'm giving something up electing to be so far off strip, and I feel like RR aren't trying hard enough to give it back.

Can you give us an overview of Red Rock? It’s tough to get any feedback on the place other than “it’s nice” & “it’s far off the strip.”
