Alright, here comes a photo dump. Speaking of dump, my room at Cromwell has a bidet. Some of the pics might be doubles, or shall we say deuces?Ah, toilet humor....

This one is just kind of funny. It’s an old megabucks machine at The D. I think it might be broken, something doesn’t seem right. If you look at the session points, it looks like I spent some serious time on it. It just kept adding up.

I’ll take a few pics of the Cromwell suite a little later, I’ve got some drinkin’ and gamblin’ to do right meow. And sadly, I can confirm that our favorite Cromwell VP machines are no longer with us.

That's what he said when he hit the nos lmao Same here! I checked out after Tokyo Drift which wasn't too bad with the intro of drifting into the mainstream. My first car was a 1989 Honda Prelude so I love Honda's.

Either way hope you have a good time drinking and gambling. Hit something big for us here.

Thanks for all the pics. Congrats on all the slot hits and only losing a small portion of the bank roll. Good luck today.

Wowzers, yesterday was quite the day. Lots of peaks and valleys, ups and downs, highs and lows, yadda yadda. That's gambling for ya. If I stay up in the room tonight, I'll still be on budget, lol. I had some good wins, I'll post some of the pics. I also had some big losses, but I'm sure pictures of my losing sessions wouldn't be very fun.

I played over at Harrah's and Linq last night. Drink service was hit or miss depending on which part of the casino I was playing in. Cromwell drink service is outstanding as always. The casinos have been pretty quiet, but tonight looks a bit busier. I've only seen a handful of scooters roaming around and a lot more police presence. I did see one guy get kicked out of The D Monday night. He was in a big group of people playing the Sigma Derby and started to yell at everyone. Security came quick which is reassuring.

It's always interesting to go back through my phone the next day to see the pictures. Half of the pics I don't even remember taking so I guess maybe the drink service was better than I remember.

It has been bothering me that I left this thread hanging without closure. Unfortunately, I was called off of vacation early for work. It happens, it sucks, but it's part of my job. I have a pretty demanding job, but that's probably why I go to Vegas so much, work hard and play hard. So, here's a quick recap albeit a bit long-winded.

The first night, I stayed at The D and visited Circa. I met up with some local friends, and we used my D comps over at Pizza Rock. It was pretty good. Circa was really cool, it was weird to walk into a casino and have it smell like a new building, lol. Everything about the place seems big, The machines I played felt tight, and I wish they had better drink comps on the floor. I'll probably try to stay there when they open though. I had some luck on the machines over at The D though.

I had a late check out, then drove over the Cromwell. The GPS told me to jump on the freeway, but I thought I new better. I decided that I wanted to cruise the strip to check out the new Vegas sign. I also wanted to reminisce about when I worked over at The STRAT . Big mistake, lol. The strip is all torn up between downtown and the Venetian area, it's a bit of a mess. Parking over at the Cromwell is quick and easy, I even got a nice spot at the end of the row with a ton of extra room.

Check in was easy as usual. There was one person in front of me asking a bunch of questions and only one agent working, but check in was still only about 5 minutes. Another 2 minutes, and I was up in the room. My host set me up with the Parlor Suite on the 6th floor. The room was pretty cool, I'll post some pics about that after this post. I noticed that the door to the room with the ice machine was propped open the entire trip, so I was helping myself to ice throughout the week. I'm assuming it was intentional, but I'm going to try to open that door if it's closed the next time I stay there. It's always bothered me that you have to call and ask for ice when staying at the Cromwell.

I always have visions of grandeur on all of things that I'm going to do while I'm out there. I wanted to go to Mlife and have them tier match to Platinum. I also wanted to stop by Cosmo to maintain my tier. Neither of those things got done. I'm kind of bummed about the Cosmo one. I guess they are on a rolling year and I think I needed only a few hundred points to maintain gold, but now I need 9k points. I did get a lot of drinking and gambling done though, I roamed and played a bit over at Harrah's, Linq, Cromwell, Bally's, and Paris. I also ate some small, quick meals at random places throughout the week.

The strip was quiet throughout the week, but started to pick up Thursday night. The scooter gangs seemed significantly reduced since my last trip in August. A lot more of a police presence also, not one time did I feel unsafe. I was annoyed a few times, but people generally annoy me anyways so that's nothing new. Drink service was fine everywhere I went, but OUTSTANDING over at Cromwell as it usually is.

My host was supposed to book me under the Apple promo, but she messed up and put me under some kind of FP booster. I was a bit bummed about that, because I earned quite a few points on this trip. I'm pretty sure that I could have made the next tier of the FP which would have double my FP. I saved my FP for the last night of my trip, which came sooner than expected. I did some pretty aggressive slot play and was able to make it all back in cash. With the FP, I was able to go home with 20% of my budget. Not great, but I rarely go home with any of my budget, lol. I'll do another photo dump in the next post.

95 free spins on this one.

I got lucky on this one right when I was about to leave it. I got a couple of full screens so they multiplied.

This one was unfortunate. I was about to walk away and bet what I had left in the machine, which was a minimum bet. Of course, that's when you hit the 160 free games, lol.

This was when I was just max betting my FP to see what happens. Hit a free spin set and got 1 good spin of old guys and wilds.

I kept triggering the free spins.

Curious on your thoughts of The D? If I remember correctly, your comps came from playing during PRB and you were unsure if you should take them up on it. Granted this past year has felt like 17 years so you may have already stayed there prior to the trip and my question may be outdated.

Haha, pre-covid seems like a lifetime ago. I have stayed at The D a few times since PRB. While we were there for PRB, we were in a basic 2qn room. It was basic, I'm talking Days inn/Motel 6 type of basic. Since then, I've aquired a host and am now rated as A+, which apparently means that I am no longer allowed to view what my offers are online, I must reach out to the host to inquire. Not really a fan of that.

The suites are pretty cool, I posted some pics on the previous page. I've only stayed downtown on weeknights, so I can't comment on the weekend vibe. I like playing at The D. Some people complain that it is too loud, I kind of like loud. The D was the only place that I realy encountered any kind of scuffles on this trip, and it was handled extremely fast. Downtown will probably be in my regular rotation going forward, but I've got Circa in my sights now.

Thanks for updating the report! I appreciate the slot wins pix with your bet shown.....I am a much lower bettor, so it doesn't make me feel quite so bad when I see the hundys piling up in the pix.
So sorry your trip was cut short.....but next time!
