I’ve seen rumblings that this year you have to be booked on a ggwu offer to redeem points. Has anyone confirmed that? I’ve always booked on another offer then gone to the event. This year I wanted to stay at mlife and just go 1 day to redeem and call it quits for the year.

I heard you have to make a reservation to go to the event. Not to book or stay on an offer though

There seems to be inconsistencies based on where you read the requirements. GGWU sites just says 2 day reservation. The GGWU offer from mailed Dec2020 flyer says you need to be booked on GGWU offer code. I'm booked to be there and I made it clear it was for the GGWU to use my points and my host booked it and then said she also added my Dec Freeplay offer to the reservation.

Still could be either way though. I'll bug my host later.

I just hit up my host as well although I’ve had conflicting answers on things from her in the past too. I’ve always done FP on the redemption week and it’s never been an issue. But who knows with how much they change things by the day.

All it says is stay. Now one of my acquaintances was told by his host that a two night stay was required, so no "dine and dash" for points like it has in the past. It says nothing about staying on an offer.

Agree, my host said a stay is required and it can't be combined with any other offers.
I find it annoying since supposedly you earn GGWU points. I don't have a huge number of points, but being able to redeem those would make possibly attending a slot tournament a bit more palatable.

My host said no double dipping on offers for GGWU this year, had to be booked under the GGWU.

    Happy birthday to me!

That’s too bad. I guess instead of 3 at Caesars it’s 1 at Caesars and 2 at Aria now. I just have no desire to play more than I have to.

It's gonna have to be two at Caesars from what I heard.

UPDATE: Apparently not. They allowed me to book a one night comp under that offer. YMMV

Anyone know when the bonus points for number of booster events attended will be added? In the T&C it says no later than November 1st, but that may not reflect Covid 2020 because there are still 2 (I believe) booster events left this month. I have attended 4 and should receive an additional 75K for this, but they are not showing up.

I attended 3 and received all my points, last one being beginning of Oct. Did you swipe in?

Yes, I swiped. I am not talking about the points that given for going, those have been received. I am talking about the bonus for number of events attended, traditionally they post after the last booster event.

If there are any questions regarding bonus point and you are not near Las Vegas, I would suggest opening an inquiry with the "Contact me" feature of the Total Rewards site. They have always resolved any bonus issues quickly and quietly.

Finally received a reply from Caesars Rewards. As I suspected they aren’t adding the bonus points until the final event concludes this month. The reply I received is below.

“We added an additional event this month for guests to be able to participate in to maximize their gift point earning.

Once this one concludes, you'll see your bonus points hit your account around November 30th.

Rest assure you will receive the points you are due for the number of events you have attended.

    Have a great weekend!”

See my last post, you should see some more points at the end of the month, depending on how many events you attended.

Wow! I thought mine had already been added! Thanks for the info! I’m a little worried about the COVID numbers and I’m flying in from chicago for the event.

You’re welcome. I’m also flying in from Chicago, they have a new stay at home order, it could be interesting...

Any idea how may GGWU points redeemed this year to receive $50 in free play?

I believe in prior years it was 13,750 or 14,500 GGWU points to get $50 in free play.
