    Cosmo update!

I'm glad I got my card yesterday. I came across the bridge that's between MGM and PH. Secrutiy has the door manned with signs saying who is allowed in the property. I showed my Identity card, got hand wanded, and was allowed in. Painless and less than a 3 minute wait. 20201030_193007.jpg

Finally tried Hattie Bs. It was good. I found it better than Fry The Coop in my neck of the woods. Now my belly is ready for alcohol. :) 20201030_195108.jpg

Giving Cosmo a little play. Seen a few halloween costumes around. Atmosphere is more casual and laid back vs mid strip Flamingo/Linq. But then again, one hotel is way more expensive than the other.

I'm done for the day. I'm going to hang with some friends from Chicago at their air bnb.

The strip is lively at the moment. I found some cotton candy gelato! Good night everyone. In the morning I'm making another round at Hash House, some light tables at some CET property and stop by Cosmo again for some slots. Plus, get down to Freemont to check out Circa!

    Night nite!

    Hello again!

After breakfast and a long walk, I took a nap and just chilled in the room for most of the day. I wanted to rest for a long night as daylight savings ends and it's the night before I leave.

Plans now are to hit some roulette in Flamingo and if plans hold meet up with friends on Freemont. I'll make my way back to Cosmo to play a little more also.

Gordon Ramsay's Fish and Chips was delish! Now my belly is ready for alcohol!

Whelp......Roulette took $400 out of my pockets.

Awww well, I'm headed to Freemont Street for Halloween shenanigans.

I think I may make Halloween in Vegas a yearly trip. I'm a late bloomer to "cosplay" at comic cons. Halloween in Vegas reminds of a large comic con. I should have dressed up. But, I'll have that to lool forward to next year I hope.

    To Circa I go!

Almost there!!! On my 8th trip, I've finally made it to Freemont. I'm such a late bloomer.

My trip is over and I made it back home. This was one of my most fun trips to Vegas, despite covid. I have been up for 24 hours and as soon as this post, I'll be in bed!

Sorry for not posting for 24 hours but Halloween on Fremont Street went way left. This was my 1st time on Freemont and it was way more high energy with people decked out in their costumes and zero social distancing. I ended up getting plastered with my friends :D

But, things took a crazy twist. It was about 2am last night and we were waiting at the Cortez for our ride. Apparently, under the influence of alcohol, I started pressing random slot machine buttons and was enjoying the sound they make. Unfortunately, I had hit the service button multiple times. Security was sent and asked us to leave!:eek:WELL I NEVER!

I can say for the 1st time in my life and on my 8th trip, I was booted out of a Vegas casino :D.

On another note, my total bankroll was $3000. I came back home with $2500. Winning $500 in PH and some nice runs on slots at Cosmo helped mitigate losses while still getting in some solid coin in on the properties money. That was a first!

All in all, I ate good this trip and I enjoyed myself. I wouldn't mind staying at Flamingo again because I like all of the food options in Linq Promenade. However, I dislike the vibe in the casino and it's just so outdated. Unfortunately, they spent half of their time shooing away people from blocking aisles, mask, and having misunderstandings because one can't be heard over a loud casino wearing mask. The room was nice and spacious and I had a great view. But I'd prefer to gamble at other CET properties. But I was rated well by the pitt bosses at PH and Flamingo for my time.

Chicago visitors were out in force this weekend in Vegas. I ran into coworkers, random acquaintances, and people who had just relocated to Vegas.

Thank you for reading my first live report. I hope to be back in Vegas for summer 2021 (I rarely get there during peak pool season).

    Until next time Vegas!
