There is a drop box 2 minutes where I live. I dropped off our ballots last week Friday.

I'll be voting in person on election day. Small town, so we never have long lines either way.

Voted by mail this year, well dropped off at official ballot box. No line and no fuss. All the early voting places I have passed have had very long lines. Not sure what the wait time is.

Voted a few weeks back. Got our mail-in ballots, filled them out, dropped them at the Hillsborough County Supervisor of Elections office right down the street. Logged in a few days later to ensure our ballots were processed, so we've been done for a while. I updated my signature the day before dropping off the ballots as well. Finito, amigo. Now let's hope we can turn Florida 2020 into an even more exciting Enterprise than was Florida 2000. I got yer hangin' chad right here, pal.

Thanks for the reminder @TiffyChick - I just voted today in Florida. It was at a public library, they had 3 lines open for checkin and 25 voting booths, and were really well organized. There was also a drive up drop box for mail-in and an additional walk-up ballot box. It took me just under half an hour including 18 miles of driving from the time I got off my butt at home until I was back at home working again.

Our stickers are real lame compared to Vegas!

I live in a small town and will vote in person. :usa: There has never been a wait even with all three wards voting out of the same location. Probably stop and do it during my exercise walk.

We didn't get stickers this year - but we all get to keep the pens we voted with ;-) I live in a small town too - normally hubs votes early in-person because the normal polling location is near his office. This year they have 2 polling locations for early voting, but they're still close to his office. My election day polling location is on my commute - closer to my house (we're in the county) than the in-town options BUT I'm not commuting this year ;-) I usually like to vote on election day (though I've done both early or election day over the years, depending on schedules....) I just didn't want to wait this year! And there have been some lines - even in our small town. early voting NC.jpg

Hub and I "early voted" Tuesday morning. Our polling place is on the campus of a state university. We arrived at the parking lot at 9:50am, and the majority of parking spaces reserved for early voters were empty. No one was waiting in line to vote either outside or inside the building. We walked up and were allowed right in. When we approached the window there was three poll workers and no line to show ID and sign the Voting Register. There was a total of three other voters casting their ballots in this huge conference/arena area (voting machines were spread out per CDC guidelines). We were escorted to our machines and voted. By 10:25am we had voted and walked back to our car.

I must offer the random notion: :) they KNEW you were coming and cleared the area. Just drive by tomorrow  and see. They know you already voted  and don’t expect to have to repeat the performance. :poke:

It was bizarre! We were in shock to see it so empty. I've waited in lines on weekday mornings at this location for the 2020 primary election and the 2018 general election.

Love the nice stickers we were given this time! (In 2016 in Harris county we did not get "Presidential Election" stickers. Just the regular "I Voted".)

We did early voting 3 weeks ago. After waiting an hour to find out the computers were down and you could only vote by provisional ballot, we baled since we were both off the next day. 24 hours later, we walked right up to the door, waited 2 minutes to get in the building, and 10 minutes later were driving away.

I actually like to vote on Election Day at our little precinct. Literally parking right up front and never have to wait. However they combined our city and Federal together this year. So we went early last week. Different building but still ample parking. No wait time at all

I've been voting absentee for a few years and did the same this year. The change was I dropped it off in a ballot box outside our courthouse instead of mailing it. Not for any reason, it was just easy.
