Can someone in Vegas tell me if fullpay VP machines are still in place at Cromwell? Someone mentioned that they removed them.

First guess would be no, as casinos need to wring out every dime they can right now. On furthet review though, you might find it in higher denoms. Like I said, just a guess.

It was a gimmick to get people in the door. It's been at quarters only for almost 5 years. I would be surprised if they moved denominations. I would expect it to either be there or not. Hopefully still there. I liked dabbling around on those. I'm honestly surprised it hadn't been yanked years ago. Especially with no DDB option.

Full pay quarters on the strip? Sounds like finding a buffalo herd these days.

I don't remember the exact number but it took way more coin-in to get a tier credit at the Cromwell 9/6 quarter machines. At least in March, the last time I was there.

I didn't play them for that reason.

$50,00 coin in per tier credit.
    Is Cromwell open yet?

Yes. the tier payment schedule sucked but if one wanted to wash free play at extremely low volatility, I could not suggest any better CET option than quarter 9/6 JOB or 8/5 Bonus Poker. There is no tier accumulation on free play no matter which CET machine you use.

I too would like confirmation on Cromwell being open and these machines still there.

Thanks for the update @Sfgiants13 . When you say Cromwell is "open" do you mean only the casino or are the rooms also open there? I am thinking of staying there with the Wife instead of Ceasars for the November Apple promo. Also, are those quarter full pay vp games still there?

Both the hotel and casino are open. I will be in tomorrow so I can report back if the VP is still there.

Just got in and will be going to Cromwell later this afternoon to check. Someone post in this thread so I see the notification or I might forget to post. I tend to do that when drinking.

I was just there and could not find the 99% video poker. All video poker is now in the back outside the high limit rooms. I checked every bank but someone should verify.

Not shocking to hear this...the full pay quarter single line machines used to be up near the very very front near the few steps down into the casino from the entrance at Flamingo Rd/LVB.

Yes I'm familiar with their old location and looked there first. All slots in that area now.

That's sad. I will pop my head in when I get back to the strip on Sunday. Their none full pay VP was atrociously bad, even by CZR standards.
