Will be staying at the Delano in a few weeks for the first time. Any tips?

We will be at Paris for our first 3 nights, with our final 2 nights in a Delano King Suite.

I understand there is a separate entrance for Delano check-in, but is there also a separate parking area, or is it shared with Mandalay Bay?

    Parking lot is shared.

Use the parking lot as a short cut to get from Delano to restaurant row.

Hey, we will be at Delano 2 weeks from today. My favorite hotel. We are staying in a scenic suite. They are at the end of the hallway.

Great property with amazing suites. The only downside is that if you want to get to the main entrance or the Mandalay Bay pool, it's a bit of a hike. But the Delano tower is right by the sports book and there are table pits abound.

If you cut through the parking garage, you can cut out a lot of distance to the pool.

Ask for the scenic suite if you can swing it. Its usually only a few dollars more per night and sits on the corner of the hotel giving you an amazing sweeping view. Rideshare has its own pick up and drop off for the Delano which is very close to the elevators so make sure you specify that drop off and pick up in the app.

One more question about the Delano King Suite. Is there a fridge for personal use, or only the stocked mini bar fridge?

    Thanks.

Della's Kitchen is great for breakfast. They also serve lunch but I haven't tried it for that.

Edited to add: Oh it is temporarily closed, probably due to COVID. Just available for in-room dining.

There was always a shelf in the fridge for personal use when I stayed there but that was a couple of years ago so not sure if it is still available.

The fridges have a little shelf at the top where you can store stuff. Not much room, but you can probably fit a couple bottles of water on it.

Note, the Scenic Suite has a very tiny closet. Like badically enough space for one person with an overnight bag small.

At Delano now. Very happy except for the fact that Della's and the bar are closed and there is no valet parking at this time.
