I went yesterday right around opening -- unfortunately, they were not yet doing takeout, but the manager said that they're going to be starting up in a couple weeks. They also do offer reservations, and while they're pretty booked up at the moment, it's a large space, they talk walk-ins, and at least you won't wind up in a ridiculous line like some of their other locations.

I personally am not a fan of the chopstick method and prefer to take a bite out of the side to let the soup out; they was how I was initially taught to do it when I was going to Joe's Shanghai a lot. But I do not recommend Sonya's method either!

They just opened. I'm sure they want to get established and see how the clientele is - plus, the nature of their food is more sit-down type anyway.

Can't wait to get back and eat there next month!

Right, that makes sense and I realize their food is more of a sit-down type of food as well. Was hoping to have a decent takeout option at Aria as most of their F&B outlets don't allow that, including Salt & Ivy. Not a fan of Lemongrass so...

@Jimgotkp hopefully they'll expand the option soon! At the same time, it's probably better eaten fresh, in house. Don't know if I'd want take out dumplings necessarily, but that's just me haha.

My understanding is that some of their places are primarily take-out anyway. It probably wouldn't travel well from Aria to Mandalay Bay, but if you're in the area, it's fine. They just want their staff to be able to ramp up and get their sea legs, so to speak.

Yeah I agree... I'm one of those people who don't take their masks off on the casino floor and prefer not eating in the restaurants. Outdoor dining is okay only if the tables are really spread out but that isn't the case at most restaurants. So, I usually have most of my meals via takeout at Vdara since they have the microwave and stovetop. It won't taste amazing but it still gives me my daily intake of Asian food :D

Can anyone confirm that they take mLife express comps and/or Room Charges ? I do not see it on the list of restaurants that accept comps but the list may be outdated...

I don't think I knew that Mlife had a list, can you share the link?

Yes, they do accept express comps... Also, a reservation was needed to dine... My unsophisticated palate found the veg/pork dumpling to be on the bland side... the pork bao was better....
