Where is this meal from? I usually am on the steamed pot sticker side of things but these look good.

And I see happy colas in one of the pics! One of my favorite drunk pairings!

I mean, they’re just reds... I think maybe it was saying I would, then throwing 4 boxcars in a row for a guy that was betting ONLY the high-low the whole time. But I call for a lot of shit that doesn't happen.

They were pretty congenial about it, I thought it was a hoot that I lost my shirt, and got backed off in the same (our last) night.. And as he pointed out, he did let me finish the roll, it was only after a full rotation
    this guy___________________________________(--\/)
told me I could not shoot any more.. I kind of prefer that to the little ticky tack continuous pecking of "both dice must hit the wall", like the Cal box does any time you start on a good roll.

Fortunately, the ban was for the evening, not permanent. I was invited back to shoot the next morning, and I did..
Did not get my revenge with my ratholed 2 green chip stake, but did have it almost doubled, and all out there on every number...

Previously this other guy, those two spots right, was teaching his friend this brilliant strategy , and it took great restraint to mind my business and just shoot points.
I'm still trying to comprehend the intention of making your EVERY bet a Hi-Low, pressing into it on every win.
I believe at one point his friend said "this isn't very fun"
After I kindly shot him four midnights in a row I did mention a pass line bet might be the way to go.

Field bets, never taking odds, and placing wrong amounts seemed to be de riguer.

She took my spot, but I didn't have a problem with it:
You meet the most interesting people at craps tables.
Her friend to the right was one of the few that knew how to bet, and actually watched a full rotation to see what the lay of the land was before making deliberate bets.

    JMHO answers:
    1) The game does not move fast. It moves as fast as it takes for you to hit draw. During this time you could do anything you want. Check your messages, check out the waitresses, check that you are making the right hold, take compulsive notes, slam some free Hennessy, smoke a cigarette, drink your free beer, scratch your balls..

Only when you hit draw does the game continue.

I did this (pause to double check the hold) for the first time, at the end of our trip, on hands I thought I didn't know pat.
That day I learned, it is not as complicated as you might imagine, most tricky holds you are overthinking it and should just hold the pair for the 4oak possibility. (I play mostly DDB, YMMV)

Similarly I found Tring eloquently explaining that you hold two pair in DDB, even if there is a high pair- the likelihood of making the house outweighs the slimmer chance of the pair to 4oak coversion.
    Vegas-w.Glenn-10-7-11-13 - 1291.PNG
My mind was semi-blown when I learned a high pair is a better hold than a Ace high 3 to a royal.
    Vegas-w.Glenn-10-7-11-13 - 1292.PNG

    3) it's easier if you are closer to the bartender. And having a sight-line to the craps table is never a bad thing either... If you tip them a five for the first drink, they will check on you almost annoyingly fast, which can be either a good or bad thing... depending....

(this machine is shit btw, bad buttons, weird keno bugs, and paper jams... but the view..?.)
(also, if you don't have headphones in you can catch all the latest employee hot goss about who did what to whom and why so and so really called out sick last night)
*(small sample size, headphones went back in and I pretended it was a ,,[can you guess which] video)

    appendix:
imagine having a nice buzz on, these two songs playing loud in your head, trying to hit buttons as fast as every single beat. frickin awesome shit man. At some point you know a shit hand when you see it and can pound your way speedily towards that sweet shift of variance:

as always, be aware of your surroundings,
without your sense of hearing if you are blasting music,
you gotta scan the floor and get a sense of timing,
you don't want to miss the chance to get an order in with an elusive fast moving waitress:
    Vegas-w.Glenn-10-7-11-13 - 1293.JPG

    2) If you're drinking, you could not give the proper attention to each hand.

This may be correct if you only drink in Vegas and are not a seasoned pro.

(more VP porn may be forthcoming, stay tuned, readers)

(ed note, filled a few more hands in)
and now I'm totally confused, the watch switch seems to mean this was two different days at around the same time.. or one was AM/one was PM.. Oh well, who cares. The full analog was last day before leaving.. The fake gold mod was the day before.

4;20 pm was about the time I got up and got a few drinks in me to start the "day".

My research appears to indicate it lets you drink more, longer, with less ill effect.

(plaza pizza spot had some oven issues, came out near ice cold in center, other customers same.. Refire came out burn your mouth and make those little flakey things in the roof of your mouth hot.)

Almost everyone else in this world gets more joy out of eating than me..

but hangry gambling is possibly worse than tired gambling.
