You don't have to receive the email as all players will stay the same tier through Jan 2002

I'm grateful this topic was posted. I have yet to receive anything from MLife stating the change.

I would log in to see what email they have on file for you. And then do a check of your spam and/or junk folders to see where those emails are going.

Do you normally get emails from Mllife?

Surely Cosmo will have to revise their changes now. If your status expires in August you're SOL

I haven't had an Email for years from MGM, I usually spend 6 or 7 nights at their Vegas Properties. I haven't spent a night at CET in years and get daily emails from them.

I did get a snail mail From ARIA, just after I cancelled my May trip. Haven't seen that in years, except form Beau Rivage junkets.

I’m certain MLife has the correct email for me. Nothing in spam folder. I seem to have gotten everything else that has been sent before and since the shutdown, but this.

Offers are NOT tied to Plat or Pearl or Gold. They are tied to average play - not tier.

has anyone seen this reflected on the website? My Tier credits still show 9/30/2020 as the expiration date.

I would imagine it might take some time for them to program it. And maybe even wait until they know the opening date and maybe some other changes they have to take.

    Just my guess.

New Mlife email today with one update. I actually thought they had already done this.

Portal/website has a new look today.

My offers are the same. 2018 before I ever played at MGM. 2019. 2020.

....not sure this is a change, but thought I'd post it here

I noticed a lot of slots around the Bellagio floor have a tiny sign "1 base point per $10" I'll try to get a picture.

Its a common belief that slots are 1 point for $3.... video poker is 1 point for $10

Not sure this is new... But if its a quiet change made while lowering tier credit requirements, extending "life" of points.... it's kind of a surreptitious bait-and-switch.

I know that last year, 4th quarter, my tier credits and points piled up fast - but I think there was a year-end promo. This trip, bigger play, not so fast. Can't help wondering if - compared to promo and with 70% reduction in earning rate... its significantly harder.

    So
    1) these $10 for 1 machines may have always been there, and I never noticed, and
    2) one more reason not to chase MLife status.

No. It's more and more slot machines are categorized as "specialty slots".

And they aren’t even the same from property to property. A machine at Park may be 10 per $, while same at MGM is 3 per $. You really have to watch.

And what is the indicator that you can use freeplay on a machine? Do you have to put in your card to find out? Or is it indicated on the machine itself?
