I've seen a couple of small shows announce that they are opening up again.

Specifically I have seen announcements from:

LA Comedy Club at The STRAT

Delirious Comedy Club at Downtown Grand

I have also seen that Absinthe is selling tickets for late October, but I haven't seen anything official about their reopening plan being approved yet.

Stand up comedy seems like one of the easier things to open. Very low fixed costs, few staff, possibly profitable with only a few people in the audience.

I follow a lot of Las Vegas performers and they really want to come back. Some are doing virtual shows, but I don't know how big production shows will come back without full audiences.

I think that the approach suggested by Absinthe is the closest we have to plans for a big production show to come back. Here's what I posted in the Covid Sticky:

Yep, that and one-man shows like Piff, Carrot Top, etc. I could also see things like limited live performances at places such as Cleopatra's Barge, which are pretty spread-out to begin with. The other thing is that many of these types of shows serve drinks, so that's an additional profit center beyond the cost of a ticket.
As much as Roeben drives me nuts, he's had Ross Mollison, who founded runs Spiegelworld (producer of Absinthe and other shows), on his podcast quite a few times. It's very clear that they've been thinking about this for a long time, and I agree that they have a better shot, both because they've been prepping for it in detail, and because the more-limited management structure means that Mollison and his team can exercise a lot more detailed control.

Glad to see some come back.

We will book a trip as soon as we can see LOVE again. As of today, they are selling tickets starting Nov 3rd. No idea if that will stick.

Partial speculation on my part, but I have a feeling it's the latter. Piff isn't on sale for a couple weeks, either.

    Chippendales (Nov 1)
    XCountry (Nov 1)
    Thunder Down Under (Nov 6)

I’ve spent half of quarantine with my friends with Thunder Down Under So can confirm they’re opening. Aussie Heat which is a lesser known show has been open since the beginning of October.

Cirque shows will be slow coming given their BK and massive layoffs. Many of their performers are on work visas and left the country so they will be coming back slowly and later. Expect December time frame.
