    :woohoo::woohoo::woohoo::woohoo::woohoo::woohoo::woohoo::woohoo::woohoo::woohoo::woohoo::woohoo:

I LOVE this concept but the classes were always held during times when I wasn't in Vegas.

They just started them up again and FOUR are taking place during my upcoming trip. I'd take all four but one I can't do as I'll be driving back from the Grand Canyon that day.

Click here and scroll to the bottom and you'll see the list. https://www.wynnlasvegas.com/experiences

Here are my "personal enrichment" classes:

"Cooking Frank's Favorites" with the Executive Chef of Sinatra

"Florist for a Day" (of course I would do this!!!) with Evelyn Herrera and Camille Lopez

"Mastering the Art of Pasta" with the Executive Chef of Costa di Mare

The one I can't book is "Cooking with a Five Star Chef" with the Executive Chef of Wing Lei . . . .

I shared with my host that I think this is a super winning concept, especially with there being no concerts.

The cost for each experience is $95 to $125 per person. You can make the reservations through a concierge but my host made my reservations for me and he'll likely comp the charges on the back end.

    Enjoy!

    Thanks @luck.ofthe.draw!

I know they had them pre-Covid and I wouldn't be surprised if that had some in November, December before the holiday rush, and maybe even in January given that there is no CES.

There's usually 4 or 5 on the website at a time and as one takes place it comes off immediately and they add more. The owner of a tequila factory that I had never heard of but apparently makes some slammin' tequila, held a tequila tasting this past Saturday. I WOULD HAVE LOVED TO HAVE PARTICIPATED IN THAT MASTER CLASS. I REALLY hope they do that one again. They've also had wine master classes conducted by a sommelier from one of the Wynn/Encore restaurants.

The one thing I wish they’d do at Wynn is have a guided tour that points out the finer details, and somewhat hidden gems, of all the fantastic art that they have there. I know at one point they had a guidebook that you could get from the concierge desk, but a guide to show you around would be really nice. They have a tour at V/P that does this and its only about $50 and it lasts about 90 minutes.

I agree and shared that view with my host. I had though about the V/P tour but figured Wynncore's would be spectacular. That could be a neat walking tour/design/art master class combo.

Woohoo! After so many things in Vegas becoming "not a thing" anymore, this is amazing to see the return of! My next trip, whenever it is, is to consist exclusively of hotels I haven't stayed at before, with a heavy emphasis on Wynn. There was already plenty that I wanted to do there, and I knew about these masterclasses before, but kind of wrote off the possibility thinking they were gone for good. Thrilled to see they're back, and I hope you'll be doing a TR with anecdotes on the experience :)

I've always wanted to attend, but a lot of them unfortunately are held during the weekdays. I'd definitely be interested in hearing about how the experience is and how distanced all the cooking stations are, because I don't see much on Youtube.

What I wouldn't do to attend a cooking class held by David Walzog of SW Steakhouse and Lakeside, but I guess watching Youtube videos like the one below and cooking along is the best I can do for now.

I am pretty sure Walzog has done them in the past, but again during a time when I wasn't there :(, so I am thinking/hoping he will do one again in the future!

I am not sure how large the classes are but I am assuming that they will definitely be cool on the health and safety front. I am also planning/assuming I will be wearing a mask while watching and then will just take it off when enjoying the lunch after the class is over.

Some of the ones I remember from before were on wines and another on chocolate. I am not a huge chocolate fan but would have signed up for that one too!

As expected, more classes have been added.

One called "Decorate Cakes Like a Pro" on October 14th, "Mastering Thanksgiving" on October 16th, and a super special one for you dog lovers out there . . . DRUM ROLL . . .

"Meet Wynn's K-9 Team" where you will literally meet some of the dogs and learn some in-home dog training tips.

I want them to go back to doing room tours. My second to last stay at Encore in a Salon, they let me see a 2 Bed Apartment. Would have upgraded during my last stay if any were available. While staying at Aria Sky Suites in a Penthouse they let me see a Sky Villa. Next time I stayed in one. I like to know what I'm getting if spending so much money.

I love the room tour idea. I've done a "tiny peak" when a door happened to be open but a room tour would be fantastic and as you noted, a smart business move as well.

Wynn at least not doing it I can understand since they actually clean the rooms well and other guests might not have the flippant attitude I have towards germs and whatnot. I can respect that. However, I've seen the recent cleaning standards of the other chains and unless I'm covered in pet hair and decide to roll around on the bed, there is literally no way I can possibly make the room worse.

When I stayed at Harrah's AK-Chin a few months ago my room had probably 6 months of dust on things like the clock. There was a pill and a bunch of crud behind the bed. This was 1 week after they reopened. I laughed at the "Sanitized" sticker they placed on the door. I was at Paris one day after they reopened and it looked like people just threw trash wherever they wanted in the casino.

That's crazy and yeah, I'm still going to thoroughly check any room (or car rental) that has the sanitized sticker. I don't own a car now so I'm renting them to drive back and forth to Buffalo every few weeks to visit my parents.

Not a huge deal but with respect to the car I most recently rented, literally ON the glove compartment was the "we've sanitized" sticker and yet inside the glove compartment, clearly visible, was the rental agreement from the person who had dropped the car off earlier that day. Not a big deal but it was telling.

@Flowers, is there a reason you can't do the Five Star Chef cooking class? I'll be around that day and might consider it. (Yes i've gotten off the fence and decided to go a wk after my orig flight due to the lower heat in LV that wk and LV was taken off the quarantine list in my town...at least for last wk).
