    My Trip Report

On the train to Chicago as I type this, it’s only been a few weeks since I was last in Vegas but feels much longer than that. Flying out on Southwest this afternoon, non stop and should be in Vegas by around 4.

    The (somewhat tentative) schedule.

9/10 Golden Gate suite, dinner at Andiamo and then collect FP and MP’s. May play some, but it will be limited. Bankroll is not large, especially for a 12 day trip.

9/11-9/13 Paris end of hallway room on a comp, first time in this room type, looking forward to something different. Plan is mainly to hit the first GGWU threshold and then sit back and watch some football.

9/13-9/15 Treasure Island on a small comp/FP offer. Never stayed here, and honestly haven’t had much desire, but I am down to just a few properties I haven’t stayed at and I need to knock it off the list eventually. Now is as good of a time as ever I suppose.

9/15-9/18 Harrahs Lake Tahoe on a comp. Driving from Vegas, I’ve never been to the Tahoe area and honestly have no idea what to expect, but that’s part of the fun, right? Looking forward to a little bar-top VP and some mountain air (if it’s not too smoky).

9/18-9/22 Booked in a massive suite at Rio on the bonus GGWU offer, I highly doubt they will open by then and expect to be bumped to Linq or Ballys, we will see what happens.

Plan is to leave the morning of the 22nd, but I do have a few other SW flights booked in case I decide to stay. We will see how things go. I’m not even going to try to keep this live, I always try and fail. I will post some highlights and maybe some food porn. Cheers!

Not sure if the bar top VP is open at Lake Tahoe.

Wonderful dinner at Andiamo last night. Wedge salad and lobster ravioli. Made a $100 in about 6 hands of VP after dinner and called it a night. 17F2F331-B884-4B1E-A4A5-DC973B3BA703.jpeg E68B2EE0-44A2-487C-93BC-02B42FA92777.jpeg

Had a rough morning playing at GG. Lost about $200 in 40 minutes. This was the only picture worthy hand, and unfortunately it wasn’t even a winner. Moved over to Paris, received an unexpected upgrade to a Petite Suite. Nice room.

I failed to take pics of the room before making a mess, I pulled these from the inter web. Pretty nice room, especially as a comp.

I took a BEATING yesterday playing. Only managed 800ish TC and lost about $900. All VP, some variations took longer than others to eat my bills. I don’t recall a single quad yesterday. In fact the only picture worthy hand was once again a losing hand. A 4K RF would have been very much appreciated at that point. Haha

It didn’t matter what I played yesterday, good/bad/terrible pay tables, nothing mattered.

See above. It was a machine I hadn’t been on. It didn’t matter what I played yesterday. Results were the same.

Sounds like a great trip. None of my business, but why the long trip without a larger bankroll? Only reason I ask is most would laugh at what I bring for a week, but I have GADD, gambling attention deficit disorder. Up or down, I get bored after 2-3 hours.

I just try to find an amount I’m comfortable losing at the point I leave and if it’s gone I’m done. I still have a chunk intact, but is certainly down a good bit.

Slow to update, like I figured I would be. Sunday I moved to Treasure Island, I was pleasantly surprised how much I liked it. Room was clean and comfortable, I had a great 25th floor view of the Mirage Volcano. Dinner Sunday night was back to an old favorite, The Steakhouse at Circus Circus. When they implode that place I hope the Steakhouse somehow remains standing, it’s truly the only great thing about that place. I had the ribeye and king crab, so good.
