Staying at Vdara for a few nights with the family in a Panoramic Suite and a Studio. Never stayed at Vdara before but with the current situation it will be nice to have a kitchen, dining table, and washer/dryer.

    Had a few questions:
    1. Are there ice makers on each floor or is there an ice maker in the freezer?
    2. Are bellmen working right now? I plan on bringing a few cases of drinks (mainly water) and having that extra help will be nice.

I stayed there twice in the last month:

Yes there are ice machines on each floor.

Yes the bellmen are working (maybe not as many as usual, but there are some).

If you want your room cleaned each day, you have to call and request it. Learned that the hard way on my first day there.

The washer/dryer combo is only in the suites right?

Correct. The studios do not have a washer/dryer.

Okay thank you... Looking at Vdara for hotel #2 and that info makes the suites more and more appealing.

Do you know how the self parking situation is like? I read a few comments somewhere else saying that they were allowing people to use the valet parking garage earlier in the summer. Is that still the case or do I have to park at Aria or Bellagio's parking garage and walk over?

The Aria walk is really annoying.. but this is where one of the mLife perks really counts - Gold and higher get free valet, which is great for anyone staying at Vdara or even Aria.

Right, it's just that valet isn't available right now. The tram isn't running either.

The valet is a self-park at Vdara as long as MGM isn't doing any valet at their properties. Otherwise those parking spaces wouldn't get any use anyway.

I can confirm this. Nice avoiding the walk to Aria and Bellagio’s garage.
