I was talking with some friends recently about our birthday cruise next March; if it's canceled, then Vegas is our backup. I put in some random dates in March 2021 and PH doesn't show up in search results. I played with dates this year, and PH shows up until December. January and forward, nothing.

I wonder if the rumors of CET selling a property are true, and it's my favorite spot, good ol PH. There are a number of dumps they could part with and I don't think PH is one of them! (I know, there is nothing official, but it's my go to if I can't decide on another property). :(

Odd, you're right, Cromwell, isn't showing either. BUT, when I log out and look to book with money, both do show up. Maybe money guests with bookings are treated different than comped ones?

ALSO - PH is showing bookable just a couple weeks from now towards end of September, I would book BUT I suspect they will cancel it and try to move me somewhere comparable, i.e. Paris, and I am NOT a Paris fan personally... prefer my modern.

When you sign out and look at prices for Planet Hollywood, they are not expensive. So days are as low as $45, some weekends are in the $180 range.
Something obviously is changing on Dec 21st. easy guess is that the PH and Chromwell will no longer be part of the CET group.

If that happens it'll be easy to convince me to switch to MLife, Caesar's will have no professional but youthful properties left!

They are listed there but try to book a date after Dec 21st and they are "Sold out". Sign out of your CET account and you can book rooms for as low as $45

I think come Oct MGM will have all of their Vegas properties open, ostensibly due to "demand". I wish we would at least hear something about the trajectory regarding Cromwell or PH, as those are also my two favorite properties.

Whilst I know this is a long shot as CET is anything but transparent, it would be nice so I can move my trip in a few months around, if need be. For now, the closest I'm getting to seeing The Cromwell is on that shitty tv show Love Island which, yes, I'm solely watching for the inside casino shots lol.

    It is a little weird.

I mean, if they were going to sell, it would make sense to keep taking paid bookings - who wants to buy a hotel with no bookings?

But there's no obvious reason to cut off comp bookings on Dec 21. Selling might be one reason, but there could be a lot of others.

Totally agree Chuck. Could be a few things and this does not confirm that it is sold
That said. On July 20th the LasVegas Sun printed an article that said:

"The company plans to shed several properties to satisfy antitrust concerns raised before approvals were granted by the Federal Trade Commission and regulators in Indiana and New Jersey. In Nevada, executives have said they may sell at least one Las Vegas Strip property."

I get the same prices signed in or signed out. I don't think CET likes me anymore.

I think if they just shed all of the El Dorado properties and kept the CET ones, that would be best :)

I just got a book early comp offer that includes both Cromwell and PHo and isnt even good until January of next year (through 8/2021 I think - one of those book by [date] and receive [x amount freeplay] only good for like 8 or 10 specific months starting in January 2021)

Just checked my account and PH/Cromwell are showing up as normal with prices listed and not the clickable i for information, but no comps at all for PH past the date you mentioned. Never had any comps at Cromwell so no change there. Really hope PH isn't sold.

They could literally sell Ballys, Paris, Rio, Flamingo, and Harrah's and I wouldn't care. If they dump Caesars (lol), PH, or Cromwell, their "exciting" properties are all gone. I'm sure I'd take some downvotes if this were Reddit...

Is there a likely buyer for these Cet properties ? Penn National ? Seminole tribe? Sands? Boyd?

it may be a good thing to get more competition CET and MLIFE have close to a duopoly for much of the strip.
