All the posts are good and helpful. I am looking forward to the trip and will stay 10 days. I have played at Harrahs in 2013 and enjoyed it. I love carny games.

The only thing I don't like about Harrahs is the card activated elevators. When my guests stop by for drinks or meet ups, I have to go get them if they're not hotel guest.

We stayed there 3 weeks ago for the first time in a few years. My host set me up with a suite and a connector, the suite room # was 34045. The room had a minifridge but no coffee maker, ice machines were up and running. The room was great, the elevator bank on our floor was super hot, not sure what was up with that. Elevators required you to scan your key, sometimes there was a wait for the elevator.

We drove but did not valet however, it appeared open. A few of the food court options were open as was the Starbucks and the new pizza cake place. I've worked or stayed at 75% of strip properties and have one time or another smelled that stench. It's everywhere, some are just better at covering it up. Our rooms were clean and bug free, I don't believe that housekeeping or room service is an option.

We didn't play tables, but had some good runs on the slots. Drink service was pretty good as it usually is. If the Cromwell doesn't open back up before my next trip, I'll probably end up back at Harrah's, we had a good time.

It is a different crowd along the Harrah's, Linq, Flamingo strip plus watch out for all of the seemingly fit people motoring on their rascals. No HK at the CET properties, but you can catch HK in the hallway or call for a delivery, in wrapped plastic, of towels, toiletries, etc. Being there so long, I'm not sure how they would handle a change of sheets or two.

At Caesar's, since they had the minbar stocked, they had no refrigerator space and had a sign saying if you used it for personal use it was $75. I wouldn't expect that at Harrahs and it was not the case at Flamingo. Being SS, you have valet for free although with help with luggage, but unsure if they will go all the way to the room.

Oyster Bar opens at 5 and doesn't take reservations. Ruth Cris is only open on certain days (I think Thur-Sunday). We played in the VP area last week and drink service was very good...sportsbook just opened last week. BTW...the Linq is open, but was very empty as I passed through although the promenade was somewhat busy with many outside dining choices.
