    My Trip Report

Well fellow VMBers we pulled the trigger and are leaving shortly. Sitting in the airport watching the FL sun slowly disappear.

This is a mulligan from July that was cancelled. We leave at 8:45 p arriving at 10:15p. Pickup car and were off..

just read that they’re going to consider opening bars as early as tomorrow. Hopefully that happens as we love Bar tops.

We have several locations double booked for offers and have not decided where to actually sleep. I guess it going to depend on the crowds.

Bankroll is strong but not going to get crazy. Last month we went to Biloxi and got way up before blowing through a 5k profit in hours.

I’ll try and update as often as possible but the Mrs. (big dawg) keeps me on the move. One thing that’s a must is our stop in railroad pass.. may wait until Saturday for that though. Spending a day on boulder and one downtown. Going to stay clear of the weekend crowds so won’t be on the strip Friday-Saturday.

custom shoes from one of the pups made for moms day.

Good morning VMB. We gambled until 3:00A. It’s 7:30 and we’re up and going. Trying to detail the day but need some caffeine before that happens.

A few observations from car rental situation l. Budget line was 5 deep but moved reasonably. First car had flat tire and stunk like weed. Walked back inside and up to counter careful not to start a riot. Told dude he finds me another car also smells of weed but almost 1130 and the wife was barking so we take it..

Car center not busy but selection sucked for cars. I’ve never seen such a small selection sitting in lot.. BTW budget fast break was not available either ..

Here’s a few hits from the late night play. My eyes finally gave in and we called it a night.

So far today was Boulder Hwy. out to Railroad pass. It’s pretty sad passing shuttered casinos and businesses. I don’t know if LV will ever fully recover.

Gambling front pretty poor so far today. Down about 1200 on the day. No handys to be had YET...

Eating dinner at Angry Butcher in Samstown. Sorry ate the food before I thought about taking pictures..

Hitting El Co after dinner and probably the D.Other than the few little 4oaks no great porn.

Spent Friday night at El Co new tower rooms. I will say that I was impressed with there cleanliness and strict mask enforcement. On more than one occasion I saw them tell people to adjust there mask appropriately. Up check in they ask series of questions, temp check and make you wear a wrist band at all times. Security at elevator checking bands and pushing buttons for you. Rooms were clean and comfortable.

Breakfast at Siegel’s 1941 this morning. Glad I didn’t have to pay. Like many have said left a lot to be desired. Service slow and food mediocre at best.

Spent a few hours casino hopping and noticed that The D and GG were checking temps and scanning your ID.
Ask why scanning ID and the security guard couldn’t or wouldn’t answer. We reluctantly provided ours and went in. Both properties were fairly busy tables were 10.00 and up.

We left downtown as the Friday crowds were building and went over to Orleans.

Pretty quiet there so we played a bit. Had some decent play for minimal money. Here’s a few pictures of some hits.. note the 800 plus hit on 01. VP.. Wife dropped in 20.00 .

I love that they are doing that for guests.

I wonder if that could be a COVID tracking thing for later...

Loving your report so far, keep up the great work!

I’d of taken the escalator. Any problems with upstairs entry (on the way to the derby), offer to buy a round for the security guy/girl. Bar’s right there....

Well all things went off the rails gambol wise. Probably one of our worst trips ever. Spent 5k between the two of us with zero handpays. In fact biggest hit was 800.00 by wife. Saturday alone I managed only one 4oak and it was dealt.

We went to numerous casinos throughout Vegas. I managed to put just over 200 miles on rental without leaving Vegas . The furthest destination was Aliante in North Vegas.

During the four nights we saw 4 different scenes where security 86 people. The worst one was Saturday night at Samstown. We were in the back near movies playing .50 DD with a 3800.00 progressive as well as progressives on premiums. We heard someone yelling and I got up and looked behind us to see several security people trying to contain a young guy. He was going off and definitely on something. They never put there hands on him but couldn’t control him. More security and 5-10 minutes later he jumped onto machines directly behind us. Now things are getting interesting. Wife grabbed me and said let’s cash out and go. Me being me said no I’m actually doing pretty good. I felt the gaze from her and we left.

Some notable observations was Southpointe turned into a total shit show on Friday. People were everywhere. Table limits were low 5.00 craps and it looked like pre Covid-19. We GTFO and moved out. I was absolutely amazed at the amount of people and lack of distancing. Relocated to Aliante for remaining days and much better.

It’s going to be a while until I’m ready to go back. We felt the machines were extremely tight. Took forever to get a bonus if at all only to be disappointed by little to no return.

I wouldn’t recommend Vegas for a first timer during these conditions. For those that are veterans be prepared to adapt and move locations if things aren’t working for you.

We arrived back in FL early this morning and trying to adjust or internal clocks as work starts tomorrow. Thanks for following sorry for the blackout but nothing positive to report.
