My birthday is in April. I received the birthday email in early February.

Of course, all was shut down in April. June 30th, mlife sent a follow up email, saying they were extending my birthday freeplay until September....and it actually went up about $80 from what they quoted in June.

Id be surprised if they didnt give you birthday FP, and heck, they might even extend it for you, like they did with me.

If you dont get an email maybe call the VIP line? When I've booked offers that way before, they could always see b-day offers...

Good luck Chuck, and not in a Jessica Alba way!

Do you need to be at a certain level to get this birthday free play??? Have never seen this before.

    Maybe.

I just went back and looked and the highest I can find is $50 in 2015. That was probably my highest play level year at MGM properties too.

2018 was only $20 and 2019 was only $30. I thought I remembered it being $100 most years but I guess I was wrong.

I can see someone possibly playing low enough that they don't offer any.

Well I have been platinum for several years and I have never received a birthday offer which is annoying as I usually end up in Vegas in the month of my birthday ( when us from the uk are allowed in) my play is steady enough for 4 nights comp with $250 FP and $150-$300 FB across the board but I only get the corporate website offers which never seem to change.

Why don't you try sending an e-mail to [email protected].

Sometimes they are helpful, sometimes not so much. It does seem strange. I know I've been getting birthday e-mails for years. Although I don't typically remember them having that large of a window to use it in, but I wouldn't swear to it.

I may well try that thanks, my birthday is in December and I am currently due to be there again but I can’t see the flights being on from the UK - we are still banned by the USA which is nonsense when you look at the carry on there currently.

If you end up being there, check your online account after you activate your offer freeplay and see if it shows more than $250. Or just check it a few days into December.

    I got nuthin.

I was booked at Nomad for my April Bday. Regular king room. I let them know it was my bday.

Before closure, my MLife online account itinerary automatically listed my reservation as regular king. After closure/cancellation, it showed a suite. So apparently, I was getting a Bday upgrade.

Kinda like being invited to a barbecue, and after its canceled, the host tells you "too bad, we were upgrading and were serving caviar, pouring phenomenal wines, and had personal servants standing by to attend to each guests' every whim!"
