Please do jot share your believe in wearing a mask or not so we don’t start a huge debate

but I do want to know if I’m Nevada aka the strip and downtown. Do they require you to wear a mask while walking on the strip or only inside the building? Thanks

So if walking down the strip to different casinos it’s required to wear a mask or only when on the hotel property. Thanks again

I thought it was only required indoors but not required outdoors if you stay 6 feet or more apart from others...

    Yes it does thanks

why at hotel pools ? Because you can’t maintain 6 ft as pools chairs are to close still. Or because it on the hotel property and most hotels require everywhere on there property?

There were some issues with distancing at the casino hotel pools. I think that they were specifically included as part of the mask mandate because people were not distancing and no masks in the pool areas.

The mandate is written in perfectly understandable English.

The hotels must meet the minimum of the mandate. They are free to set their own policies as long as they at least meet the mandate.

Yeah I ended up re-wring that it. A simpler way of thinking about what it says about outdoors:
    • It is always POSSIBLE to maintain 6 feet of distance outdoors.
    • The canopy on Fremont is considered indoors (I read that somewhere, don't ask me where, I think it's based on the fact that the abutting properties own it or something)
    • Hotels have the choice of what they want to do at their pools. I don't think they have to require masks at pools, but we're better off that most of them do.

I was there last week, and I can tell you that Governor's orders or no, quite a few people weren't wearing masks outdoors because there really isn't anyone out there to enforce it. But indoors, I don't think I saw a single person without a mask on.

I agree about outdoors. The couple times i went outside, I would estimate about half the people were wearing masks. As for indoors, as i described in my TR, at Wynn mask usage was about 90%. At CP and Bellagio, it was less

Nobody's enforcing it because it's not required. (shhhhhhhh)

Unless there was a later revision.

I've seen no mask enforcement outside of the casinos. Even spaces like the Linq promenade there is no mask enforcement.

    Not much inforcement outdoors.
However, with Vegas not being too busy these days, 6' of distancing in some areas is actually possible.

That's true. The couple times I ventured out this weekend, the only outdoors areas where it wasn't well distanced was in the immediate vicinity of resort entrances and at intersections with traffic lights. I intentionally walked along paths I knew to be widest (meaning I avoided the strip of sidewalk between Venetian and Linq) and it wasn't difficult to avoid getting stuck next to large groups of people

Do you know if you can wear a neck gator or face shield instead of a paper mask or cloth mask in all the casinos

Some comments that might be too late for you:
    1. You're provided free surgical masks by Wynn when you enter
    2. Unless you have a medical condition, page 3 of Wynn's Health Plan suggests that face shields are not face coverings
    3. Neck gaiters are not mentioned, but they have been a contentious topic recently and might not be allowed, since Wynn offers an alternative in free surgical masks
    4. I wonder what a neck gator looks like
