    My Trip Report

I will stick with my normal trip report format, bullet points of noteworthy things.

    · Stayed at Paris, upgraded to a P room. It was nice, but I feel the added square feet is a waste, as it’s taken up by that mini hallway. Had a really nice view at the Bellagio (in photos below).

    · I normally go to Vegas for 5 full days & 4 nights, but I think 4 full days and 3 nights may be my new sweet spot. Especially during the pandemic. If/when things get back to “normal” I may go back to the longer vacation.

    · As everyone knows, Vegas is different, but was surprisingly fun due to lowered expectations. You really need to know that you’re going to be in some lines, can’t forget your mask, and a lot of things are closed and/or have modified hours.

    · This trip was a little more “pool” heavy than other trips. Next three bullets are pool related.

    · Thursday - Paris has a really nice pool, never really been there for extended periods of time, but it was fun, and the customer service was great. People were being really responsible about staying away from each other in the pool.

    · Friday – went to the pool at Liquid (Aria), the customer service was even better at this pool. They were randomly folding our clothes on the day bed, and were always checking on us. It’s also a really good deal. Cabana or day bed, you get 100% F&B credit. If you’re interested in my POC at Liquid, let me know, I will connect you two.

    · Saturday, had a day bed at the Plaza. Stayed in the South Tower. Once again, customer service was great. The only thing is it’s a small pool, and people were piled on top of each other. I stayed in the day bed for most of the afternoon.

    · The Golden Nugget pool has online gaming at the pool. My friend hit 11 points in a row, yes, 11.

    · 95% of the people I met were from California, out of those 95%, 99% of them were from LA. I missed my Canadian friends!

    · Minimums were absurd on the strip, I only play craps, and saw one $10 once (Bally’s). I mostly played at Ellis Island ($5) and Fremont ($10), but let’s not forget bubble craps! It was a $3 minimum with 2x odds at Paris. I stuck to bubble craps when I did want to play.

    · Circa is MASSIVE, pictures don’t do in justice. I’m looking forward to it next summer!

    · Also, just my observation, people on Fremont were not respecting social distance, and masks were always being taken off. The pool scene at the Plaza was not COVID friendly.

    · As far as food, used my $100 celebration dinner at Mesa Grill at Caesars. Not sure who on VMB recommended it, but thank you. It was excellent. Also ate at Hexx, American @NYNY, Binion’s Café.

    · If you all are going, I strongly recommend reservations. Not only for dining, but anything you’re able to reserve ahead of time.

    · Redeemed $75 of free play from MyVegas, but sadly, only $40 came out of that.

I will probably go again in October, and really on the fence about NYE.

    Thanks for the pics.
Was not aware any of the one dealer craps tubs were still around.
Was that poolside at the Nugget?

Thanks for the TR. Sounds like a great trip! Awesome view of the fountains. Never tried bubble craps, may have to give it a try.

Too many people too close without masks. Sorry, I'll wait.
Glad you had a great time. Sans covid, the pools looked sooo nice.

Was to the pool on Thursday, as well. Probably passed you lol! Love the Paris pool, and I agree about the service there - I never went more than about 10 mins between one of the servers coming by.

Nice report and pics. Paris is my home base. Always have enjoyed the pool area there, easy access and a little more sedate.

If you're still interested in playing bubble craps next time you visit Vegas, check out the machine at El Co. It's 5x odds and $1 minimum.

Paris has a craps table at the pool? How much is that?

No, the craps table at the pool is at Golden Nugget. There is one at Flamingo, but it’s closed for the season. There is also one and Encore’s pool, but I feel that one is closed for the season.
