Don't know if anyone has mentioned KINGDOM on Netflix. A buddy texted me and said I should watch it.
I saw the trailer and texted him back saying I wasn't interested in MMA fighting. He said it was much more
than just fighting. I said ok I'll watch the first episode. Well I was hooked! I normally don't binge watch shows.
I like to slow roll a series viewing only 1 or 2 episodes a night. This show was definitely binge worthy.
I found myself watching 4 in a row! Season 1 & 3 are both 10 episodes each and Season 2 is 20 episodes!

    Netflix -

Sex Education, finished Season 2. Sexual freedom run amok.
GLOW - I should have been watching before. Just started Season 3. I like it a lot.
Outlander - Just finished Season 3. It went from Outlander to Outlandish. It’s always been soft porn. Will have to go to Starz or Amazon for Seasons 4 and 5.

Showtime - Ran out of stuff to watch so I’m trying the original Penny Dreadful. Up to Season 1, Episode 2. It’s pretty good.

Netflix - Despite my whining the other day, it is streaming on the Roku CHANNEL. Up to date on Perry Mason and Room 104. Perry Mason is da bomb. This should sweep next year’s Emmys.

    Amazon Prime -

The Expanse - Season 3. Good space adventure. Keeps your interest.
Upload - Cute story about the near future, where, as long somebody foots the bill, you can get uploaded to a virtual reality when you die.

Watched The Grand last night on Amazon. I thought it was good in a quirky weird cheesy way. It looks like it was filmed at the Plaza and Golden Nugget. Woody Harrelson plays the Grandson of a Vegas Casino owner. Ensemble cast all playing for 10 million dollars in a poker tournament. Dennis Farina is the best - scenes with him on a scooter are hilarious. It is billed as a mockumentary and you can see it. Steve Wynn character, Woody's grandfather probably a Benny Binion type. Dennis Farina mobster-like..... But just the Vegas scenes and Dennis Farina made it worth watching. My husband disagrees. OHHHH and I learned what a flop is -- so it was educational too. -- My husband said he feels dumber after watching it. Typical weird Woody Harrelson character.

    a) The Politician - funny & great story following the alarmingly ambitious, sociopathic protagonist from high school class president to the White House
    b) Last Chance U - Laney College, Oakland, CA

Amazon Prime - Missing 411: The Hunted - documentary about hunters disappearing from wild lands. Creepy/freaky stuff. Made the hairs on my arm stand up.

I told my husband shit like this is why I don’t go camping in the boonies with you!!

Just finished After Life with Ricky Gervais on Netflix. Loved it. Laughed and cried. Highly recommend...has some crude & offensive language, though, so be aware of that.

    Worth a watch

    Netflix -

Sense8 - Season 1. Not bad once your head clicks on to the offbeat plot.
    G.L.O.W. - Season 3. Debbie Does Vegas.
The Last Kingdom - England is reduced to only Wessex and grimly hangs on against the pagan Danes. Has a G.O.T. vibe to it.
Outlander - Season 3. Finished it. A good show that I believe jumped the shark towards the end of Season 3. Not worth the $10 to watch Seasons 4 and 5 on Starz.

    Showtime -

Penny Dreadful - Season 1. Much better than I thought it would be. Gothic horror at it's best.

    HBO -

Watchmen. Far out Fantasy inspired by the Tulsa race riots of 1921. I'm not going to comment further because it is controversial. I do recommend it.

    Amazon Prime -

The Expanse. Season 5. Space adventure. Earth vs. Mars vs. the Belters. Uneasy truce as Season 5 begins.
Upload. Season 1. Quirky, cute romance about a digital afterlife. Andy Allo is cute beyond words. My latest crush.
Absentia. Season 2. Emily always has this look like she is going to strangle the next person who crosses her path. I guess 10 years chained up in an aquarium will do that to you.

I just binge watched 3 seasons of Absentia on Prime. Stana Katic is bad-ass. She’s a female version of John Rambo, completely indestructible. It’s kinda intense & dark. A good not great watch.

I started watching Jean-Claude Van Johnson on Prime. I like it. Love how he can make fun of himself (Jean-Claude Van Damme)

El Chapo on Netflix. Not as good as Narcos but its much better than I thought it would be, but if you like Narcos I'd say its worth a watch.
