dont be Karens. I wouldn't bother reporting unless they're directly affecting me...

For most of the Flamingo and Harrah's stretch, yes!

Can anyone report if the scooter issue is only concentrated to mid strip? I’m a south strip kinda guy so the south strip scooter situation is what I’m most interested in. Thanks

My family observed similar scenes during our visits to MB, Luxor, and Excalibur. Not too many large groups. Appeared to be mainly couples or small families.

The biggest scooter group we saw on our trip was 12. My bride dubbed them Harrah's Angels.

We did see some folks who appeared to be using scooters out of necessity instead of recreation.

Yesterday as we were waiting to cross over to PH/Miracle Mile (street level crosswalk) we scooted over to allow a senior couple a few extra feet to get their scooters up onto the segment of sidewalk/around a pylon and get situated before the light changed.

They waved and said they really appreciated it.

I am sure there could be DUI'S handed out as well. Guaranteed most of the younger and able crowd that renting these for fun are drinking and driving. I know here eif you are driving anything motorized you can get a dui.

When did this fad start up? There was always some but all people that needed them.

Jeez, these people are nuts. Personally I'd like to see one run out of battery on an escalator and watch the person scramble off to try and drag it away. Now saying that I mean the people too lazy to walk who think it's great to ride these things. If one of them ran over me outside I think I'd pull the key and throw it on Vegas Blvd. I'm a fat guy and even I walk around Vegas, albeit slow. "Come on Man!"

Walking mid strip, the scooters appear from behind out of nowhere. They are silent.

I would still report to nearby security or management if it gets out of hand. There's no excuse for unsafe, bullshit behavior and many people witnessing it but probably not saying anything, thus the problem continues.

It's exceptionally stupid for people that actually need these - not to mention the harm to pedestrians and havoc on casino floors.

All this talk is making me think about one. I've never used one before but with the arthritis getting worse and trams down I may get one for a day or two just to get from MB to Luxor and beyond. It will be at the tail end of 6 days so maybe welcome by then. If nothing else I can defend myself from the ruffians. All I can picture is George Castanza trying to outrun a group of greys at 3 mph.

There were scooters zooming around inside a crowded Cosmo this past weekend. Watched able-bodied people taking turns. Saw many on the Strip from my terrace.

And many off Strip along Harmon, in my Uber to airport.

    They're everywhere.

The folks on scooters are very polite..... they all respectfully veered out of the way of the mom who stopped with her baby carriage to sit on the curb in front of Miracle Mile Shops and smoke a doobie.
