Hi. Has anyone been in Horseshoe or Harrah’s in CB within the last week? How were the crowds? Mask enforcement? We canceled LV for the week of the 20th and are considering driving out to CB. Thanks!

I was at Ameristar on Saturday for a while during the day. Crowd was sparse. Maybe 50-60% mask use but they tell me (the ubiquitous "they") that CET now requires them.

Visited Horseshoe and Harrah’s weekend before last. Mask requirements were strictly enforced at both. Neither were packed by any means but with every other machine shut down you could not always play what you wanted. General Managers club had just re-opened, never more than 10 folks at anytime. We just stopped in for drinks a couple of times. With the mask it is pretty much a pain in the ass! My wife is an X-ray tech so she wears one everyday me, not much. I am a contractor and we are doing our outside jobs now and not going into any homes to work.

Thanks. We decided to go next week, so I will report back. Harrah’s hotel is open now, too, so that should help spread people out a bit.

We went this past Sunday, planning to stay three nightS. Harrah’s was dead on Monday afternoon, but they were enforcing masks. They kept coming back to the same woman when she kept pulling hers back down, which she did as soon as the employee walked away. They seemed to know her. Horseshoe was decently busy, especially at night. There were huge drums of wipes for you to clean off your machine before you played. Mask usage was probably 80% compliant. Not once did we see an employee ask anyone to pull up a mask. People had them on but wore them around their necks or only on their mouths (mostly around necks, though). We heard on the speaker several times that someone won a jackpot, but we only saw one hand pay actually happening, and that was late Monday night. After wearing a mask for the better part of two days, our ears hurt and we were actually glad we’d cancelled our Vegas trip for this week. I would not have wanted to wear one in the heat! Laurel Lounge was open. We did get a bit bored, so we left a day early.

We were there last Thursday and Friday night and they were busier than I expected. They claimed masks were enforced but saw many with them under their chin. I would say ameristar was the busiest and least amount of mask wearing.

We road tripped around Iowa and Minnesota and council bluffs was the busiest and worst for masks out of the roughly 16 casinos we went to.

They tell me (the ubiquitous "they") that the little cafe at Horseshoe is now open again. It used to be 24x7, and I'm not sure if that still applies.
