Will be staying downtown on Thanksgiving Day. Anybody have suggestions on a place to eat Thanksgiving lunch/dinner? Sit-down or buffet, it doesn't matter.

I think we'll go to Hash House at the Plaza.

We have been going to Las Vegas for 10 - 15 yrs on Thanksgiving, if you can get a reservation, everyone goes out to eat and every non fast food option has always been packed with customers with the closed buffets and limited hours and food options I would think it could actually be worse this year. Again reservations will be a must for us we learned the hard way years ago.

Who can say this far out? Worse comes to worse look for some local places that will be open and get some takeout and relax and enjoy in the room...(Possibly watching football)..

Avoid the buffets (if they are open by then). Past years incredibly loooooong lines at every buffet. It is easier to go out than cook.

Well, it's not downtown but I've had T Dinner 3 or 4 years in a row at Lakeside at Wynn. There's a wonderful and reasonably-priced fixed price dinner or you can order from the regular menu.

Having spent many years in the business, I always felt holiday dinners were a rough one. This year reservations will be tougher because of lower seating capacities. If you're set on it, make that reservation as early as possible.

We had Christmas dinner last year at Cornerstone in Gold Coast. It was very good and I seem to recall they do a traditional Thanksgiving menu as well.

A few years ago I had a nice Thanksgiving Day meal at Mon Ami Gabi. It was a prix fixe menu and they had two seatings, one at 5:00 and the other at 7:00. It was quite good, the price was reasonable and it was a really nice way to have a Thanksgiving Meal in Vegas. Definitely make reservations. I’ve had several Thanksgiving and Christmas prix fixe meals over the last few years (MAG, Bouchon, Morels) and all of them have been really well done. Have fun!!

I've had Thanksgiving dinner at MSS in both the brewery and buffet. Not the greatest dinner ever but perfectly fine and cheap, good beers. Two thumbs up from me.

Tried Mon Ami Gobi two years ago and had exactly the opposite experience...food uninspired and poor value. Worst thing was we could have eaten off the regular menu and, I'm sure, had a great experience. Last year we were at Mesa Grill which was very good. Might try that Cornerstone option this year.

Thanksgiving dinner at Giada in The Cromwell is great. Food, service, and strip view all added up to a great experience.
