So, I have a cabana rented at the Plaza, but am I not allowed to bring my bag of thing on Fremont? It's just a towel, sunscreen, etc.

Just go through an entrance not on Fremont Experience or take a side road to your destination. That rule only applies on experience not streets that parallel it nor to entrances to casinos not on Fremont.

Go around the side street where The Cal is, and you’ll be fine.

^^ Agreed. The block north of Fremont is Ogden Street. I walk it semi-frequently when I'm downtown - typically on Friday/Saturday nights when I want to move more quickly than I can through Fremont, itself.

    Never had a problem

When we were there July 23-30 our friends carried a backpack everyone. We had no problems getting in and around Fremont Street Experience with it. There was one casino on Fremont though that wouldn't allow our male friend to have it, but did allow his wife. I can't remember which casino that was though :(

    Freemont?,
Last I saw, no one cares anymore.. or checks IDs.
    Individual casinos, ymmv...
but I think no one cares anymore beyond temps and masks.

Also, Plaza lies outside the Freemont screening.
and if you go in through Binions back, or the GG side door...

I would assume if you have things that are needed for medical use you would be able to have it. If they didn't allow you to have your medical life saving supplies I'm sure there would be lots of legal issues with that.

I'm headed out to Vegas in a week. I'd like to carry around a small drawstring bag while I use all my ACG coupons on Freemont. Any updates on the bag situation in downtown? Do I need to go through the other casino entrances rather than the ones on Freemont?

No bags allowed im Freemont st. itself every day now? Like it was always only on first friday of the month?
So if I arrive for a couple of hours from the strip and need to cary stuff with me, where i supose to live my small bagpack? In locker?
I want to go on the street itself, not on side streets

The DT experts can probably provide a bunch of different options, but you could check your backpack with the nearest hotel bellman and then retrieve it when you are finished

Two weeks ago (8-2) I went out the Fremont St. main doors out of the Golden Gate to Binion's with my carry-on bag draped over my shoulder to go to Binion's pool and GG security looked at me and said "Have a nice day, sir". Walked into Binion's and right past 2 of their guards and they didn't say a word.

They probably knew what you had the bag for. If security ever asks all you have to do is say what you are doing and show them if they need to see it.

no issues this saturday. people had bags. also masks are supposedly required but not enforced at all outside. too effing hot. mask usage outside probably less than 50%. way less. not as low as in strip outside though. strip outside is probably 10-20%.

almost all fremont casinos have temp checks though. unlike the strip.
