    Thanks for all the great pictures. We are heading down to Borgata this weekend hopefully, so this was super helpful!

    Thanks for your report. We had reservations for tonight but cancelled because I still don't feel comfortable going but, after seeing the "emptiness" we may yet give it a try. Of course, it's always pretty deserted in the morning so I guess the answer is to play early before the crowd gets there. I really hope someone reports on how things are later in the day and evening. Better to be at the Borg instead of the Boardwalk-less foot traffic. We're itching to get back.

    Thanks for the report.

    I don't know if this is COVID-related, but they took Tony Luke's out of the food court? That makes me sad.

    I didn't even realize there once was a Tony Luke's at Borgata, but it looks like the last yelp review was around 2015. A couple years ago there was some drama between the family as to who owned the name and some of the franchises closed. There is some kind of Philly Cheesesteak place in the Food Court.

    There is a Tony Luke's at Tropicana and they are open, the Roast Pork Italian is a 4 napkin sandwich not to be consumed with long sleeved shirts. The warm pork au jus rolls down your arm as you blissfully chomp down on the aged provolone and broccoli rabe sauteed in olive oil and fresh garlic. Grab a couple pickled hot cherry peppers between sandwich bites.

    I miss my happy place! And I miss Tony Luke's!

    Take a boneless pork loin and season it with pepper and Italian seasoning, put it in a roasting pan and cover with foil. Roast at 350 until its done (can't remember the internal temperature) and then let it cool off and refrigerate overnight. Save the au jus, its liquid gold. When cold, slice as thin as possible on a slicer, heat up the au jus and probably try and make some more. Dunk the thin slices into the juice for a couple minutes, then pull out and put onto a crusty Italian loaf, seeded would be great, and top with sharp, aged provolone and some spinach or broccoli rabe sauteed in olive oil and garlic.

    Pretty easy.

    The one at DiNic's in Philly won Best Sandwich in America according to Adam Richman of Food Network fame. It's better than a cheesesteak.

    Sorry you may have addressed this already - but is there still no cocktail service / drinks allowed on the casino floor while playing games? I'd be willing to drive over to AC in lieu of flying to Vegas, but wouldn't be able to handle not having a drink or 10 while playing craps!

    No drinks on the floor.

    Play Craps, leave table, get your drink on, no drinks at bars, standing room only or tables. Or go to your room and two fist. Rinse, repeat. This rule is kind of why I prefer the boardwalk area right now because you can leave and walk the boards and grab a cocktail or hit the beach. This is by order of Governor Murphy.

    But with a screen name of FuzzyDiceCraps, I can see why this might not be appealing.

    I did see a seasoned citizen walk across the floor of Harrah’s with a coffee cup in her hand. Didn’t see if she made it to the other side without being tackled by security.

    I heard that Ocean was giving away bottled water and a report of folks playing slots with water bottles in hand. I imagine there are some enterprising folks who replaced the water with vodka.

    @hammie @Flowers @moses4969 @smerrian @Wallew @EastCoastVegasFan!

    I have no idea if things are going to be changed by then, but I just booked September 25th (Friday) at Bally's and will probably switch over to Caesars as comps on Fri/Sat seem to open to me the week of. If any of you are interested and thinking of hitting AC that weekend and, more importantly, feel safe, I'm happy to get something planned. It may very well be outside if Murphy still can't seem to approve indoor dining in another 2 months (the data should drive the decision) but even if that's the case, late September in AC - as you all know - is pretty nice outside.

    My presumption is another 6-7 weeks may afford some more options in AC than now insofar as fun goes. Also, the indoor dining situation will hopefully get squared away then so we can drink while gambling. Naturally, things won't be solved by then, but perhaps we'll be afforded a modicum of more normalcy. Also, this time will hopefully keep the 20 somethings away whom seem to be the biggest offenders of rules there.

    Either way, if this is even tangentially of interest and you want to let me know by sometime next month, happy to get something set up on the Boardwalk. Much as I love the Marina, I think the Boardwalk would afford more, safe options for us to get something set up.

    I have no idea if anything is going to change, but book a second bed, the room rates are astronomical for me LOL

    I'd totally be game but I hope to be in Vegas on September 25th. That actually would be my first full day.

    I've been researching and trip planning for AC, however, where I will be in less than 3 weeks!!! Just hung up with the Borgata, actually trying to determine the cost of a day bed at the outdoor pool.

    I am fired up about my AC trip. Yes, it will be different, but I think it will still be a great trip and I agree with you that AC in late September is a great time to visit. It'll still very nice outside without being too hot and it also likely won't be nearly as crazy crowded as it will be when I am there in late August through Labor Day weekend.

    I have no plans...ever. If I can go Sept 25, I will. Perhaps drinks on the boardwalk or, perhaps, outside in the Sky Garden at Ocean (their Lobby Bar is open as it's actually outside), perhaps Resorts or Bally's beach bar? Something spread out outside as 'indoors-with non household persons-for extended period of time' is still off limits for me. (Husband on O2 with less than 50% of lung function).

    Honestly @smerrian, I'm open to whatever options you and the group wants to do and feels safest with. I figure I'm allotting enough time here for us to:

    1) see who feels comfortable going (presuming things aren't getting worse of course);
    2) ascertain whatever options are open now and assess, as we get closer, if there's any different options;
    3) figure out what part of the Boardwalk works best for you all (I'm flexible here);

    Amongst others.

    I think Resorts or Bally's would be ideal given the somewhat-central locations, and assuming we can get in an area with sufficient spacing. I can also bring sanitizer and other things if need be.

    Ultimately, if we can all have some drinks outside with sufficient space between us and w/ appropriate PPE, I think we could all have a halfway decent time. For what it's worth, I think I'm the furthest away from AC so if we can get the lion's share of the S.Jersey/Philly/NYC folks, I'm more than happy to make the trek.

    Also, I'm open to any and all ideas to ensure everyone feels comfortable. There's also some other members who frequent AC that I have inadvertently left out, so feel free to add their handles as well. I just added the ones that come to mind most after we've all been posting over the last half decade + about meeting up, so I'm thinking it's high time lol.

    I’d be interested depending on how the situation develops between now and then. Keep me in the loop.

    We were really hoping to pull off the second annual VMB AC meet up this year but it’s not looking good. Hopefully things will take a turn for the positive in the near future(for once this year).
