What Tram? Are you talking about the shuttle on rubber wheels on the boardwalk? I don't know what to call it but I never thought of it a tram - if that's it.

Yes, the Boardwalk Tram Service, except the fare has been $4 for about a year, they need to update the website.

I visited Tropicana over the weekend to collect some freeplay, I missed picking up Sunday's gift: a bug zapper. I guess its better than a tube of fly paper. The only parking that is available for the unwashed masses like myself (copper status) is the Quarter Garage, which is the left entrance as you drive along Brighton Ave. I normally park at the Casino garage on the right side of the street, except this garage is now limited to Black card holders. Valet parking is closed. Parking is free for Copper and above, $10 otherwise. I was pretty pissed on Saturday, there was one attendant at the exit and it took about 7 minutes to get through as folks rarely have their payment or cards ready. The elevators in the Quarter garage were limited to 4 per car, but there was always a bit of a line to get on. I forgot where the stairs were and would have gladly used them instead of waiting.

There was a surprising good crowd there. Tropicana recently opened up a dining area around the Chelsea Tower pool called Chelsea Five Gastropub Poolside. Here is a list of Tropicana dining options.

I've been going to AC since early 90's and never knew that was call the Boardwalk Tram Service. I usually take a long walk on the boardwalk, at least while I'm able. Thanks for posting Tropicana restaurants link, but I can't seem to get anything else except in-room to display. I didn't go to Tropicana on my trip a couple weeks ago. I'll try to go next time I'm there I wanted to save my play for Caesars because of the 5X multipliers.

Updated: It's strange, I can get the Restaurants on my iPhone but I can't get them on my MacBook except the in-room. I don't know if I'm blocking something on my Macbook

Thanks @hammie for the list. I love that Tequila bar. I will definitely check that out in a few weeks!

It looks like the boardwalk tram started in 2015, so it’s fairly recent given the history of the first Boardwalk. During inclement weather and in the winter, there are clear plastic windows that are rolled down.

As for outdoor dining at Tropicana, there is Hooters, Chickies & Petes, Casa Taco, and the Chelsea Five Gastropub Poolside. PF Chang’s, Cuba Libre, and Palm are takeout only. Sadly one of my favorites, Olón, is closed. They had a great happy hour.

@Flowers, Casa Taco is also open for breakfast and is actually pretty good and they claim to have over 100 tequilas available. The high limit room at Trop is rarely crowded and set off in a corner.

@oghuman, I received and discarded an email from Caesars offering 10x rewards, I think it was August 14 and 28, but I might have my dates wrong. I can’t retrieve the email. Maybe your host will know.

Hard Rock now has an outdoor lounge for Rock Royalty. I’m guessing to keep pace with Borgata.

Pretty surprising that Caesars hasn’t come up with something yet to temporarily replace the Diamond Lounge.

I am so pumped about the additional outdoor dining spots available. I forgot to ask in another thread but I'm hoping I can do a match for SECOND time with the Hard Rock as well as I'd love to access to that lounge.

My host told me Caesars has drinks only available from 9 to 11 pm on Friday and Saturday nights in lieu of the Seven Stars lounge.

Bummed that I won't be going this weekend as I frankly MUCH prefer RC multipliers than TC multipliers as I'm highly likely to make Seven Stars anyway and even if I don't, I know I'll make Diamond Elite even with moderate playing being in AC for a week+ later this month. So, for me, the TC multipliers have no value but the RC multipliers in my mind are almost like early cash as I can use the earnings to pay for meals in most CET places that I visit at a 1:1 ratio.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed that there are some big RC multiplier days for Labor Day weekend. Caesars hasn't yet released its promos for that weekend though Borgota announced at least two weeks ago that is giving away $1500 in slot dollars every 15 minutes from Noon until 7 on Labor Day.

Interesting that CET switched Sept junket from A/C to Biloxi.

The golden Nugget just announced they now have an outdoor players lounge for Chairmen and Elite members.

Kind of surprised but not really, that Caesars has not yet come up with some sort of lounge for Diamond members yet.

I'm heading to AC solo this Friday and Saturday getting out on Sunday staying at Caesars. There are some activities for Seven Stars with 7X reward multiplier and gifts and possible extra Free Play bonus. Plus some drawing Friday night for Free Play if you're gambling. I'll also be going to Harrah's as my host was giving some bounce back money and at first I was having him leave at Caesars then decided to leave it at Harrah's.
It also looks like I'l be doing take out again. I can't see getting a table for one.

I'll post something it's only two days not sure how much I will have to post. If it's worth it I'll do Trip Report or share any wins if I have hand pays.

BTW, since you're a 7* it would be better for this coming weekend for the gifts and reward multiplier.
