Finally back and rested up after a fun week in Biloxi.

    We played at:

    Beau Rivage
    Hard Rock
    Palace
    Harrah’s
    Treasure Bay

We took a comp offer my wife had for 2 comped nights at beau and a low cost Wednesday/Thursday totaling $120 cost.

They only listed me on the room, but I didn’t use any comp while I was there (hoping to gain comps).

    Beau Rivage Play:

Wife: $900 coin in over two playing days (slots only) ($260 loss)

Myself: $1288 coin in over two playing day, and one short 1 hour evening trip. I played $15 BJ for 1 hour- 1.25 hours with an average bet of probably $15-20 range.
    Total slot loss:$254
    Table Game: 205 Profit shows
    (Total $54 loss)

Should we expect to receive any follow up offers? I have been getting flight things since we went to Vegas for the $(199/pp trip w/ $50 FP). I had an offer for the same rooms for $149 but did not use it.

So how many nights total did you stay? Did you play every day you were there?

For your wife, assuming a 10% hold on the slots she would have a theoretical loss of $90 on her $900 coin in. Assuming comp rate of 30% of theoretical, she can expect a trip total of $30 in comps, which probably isn't enough to cover the 2 nights comped room (unless the rack room rate is $22 or $23 per night and casino rate is $15 per night).
For your $1288 slot coin in, the same calculation gives us an expectation of $43 in comps from your slot play. I'm not sure how the table play would factor in for additional comps, so will leave it to others for that calculation, but I know many casinos won't consider table play of less than 2 hours.
Under normal circumstances, I wouldn't expect more than reduced rate rooms based on your play -- but these are anything but normal times. I am of the opinion that all bets are off right now when it comes to "expected" comps -- if the hotels really want people to come and gamble they may extend comps that would not be offered in more normal times. Bottom line is only time will tell. Please let us know if you see any offers as a result of your trip.

The room was under my wife’s Mlife (we have separate ones). We stayed 4 nights at the hotel (2 nights full comp). She played the first two nights at Beau that were comped. I played 3 nights.

Also, we did a fair amount of playing at Hard Rock (we liked how lively it was there).

Wife achieved 350 points, and I achieved 900 points. I played their dumb electronic blackjack for about an hour at $5 hands.

I am sure I will get some kind of match play for treasure bay since I played for 12 hours there on tables about $10 min bet.

The offers might have been better if you put all play on one card, yours or hers.

I’m really just hoping for some low cost or free comp stays.

I thought about doing this, but for some reason in my mind I was thinking since I didn’t use any comps I would get more offers by playing without any comps. I’m hoping to see what offers come around. We are suppose to go to Vegas in October on a decent comp (6 nights free at Luxor) $100 FP, $150RC but I almost want to just return to Biloxi since it’s much more manageable of a trip since we can just drive there. It is about 7 hours to drive, which is long enough we wolnt go all the time but close enough we don’t have to fly (wife has flight fear). The charter flights out of Jacksonville, FL to Biloxi... any idea the length of the flight?

i can’t see my comp for the same week since I already have the one at Luxor. I wanna do vegas, but Biloxi might be a better “investment” since we probably would do Biloxi 4 times a year, and this would probably be our last Vegas trip. Anyone know if MGM has a number to call to check on if they would change this around?

I am certain that you will hear something from Treasure Bay. I think you will hear something from Hard Rock. I think you might hear something from Beau Rivage. One thing that will impact your Beau Rivage offers is did they take your M-Life players card number when they "listed" you on the room ? If they did, I think they will count you as a four day "on property" stay even if the room was in your wife's name. If they just got your name, they will probably only count those two days you actually gambled. Reading your report again, it looks like you actually played three days (one short 1 hour evening trip) so they will be dividing your total coin-in/table play by three days instead of two in any case. I hope that they are really trying to pull in some gamblers during the virus because that will surely benefit your case for offers.

The flight from Jax to GPT is roughly 80 minutes give or take...sometimes they play games on the plane to get people in the mood, depending on what airline and how many people are junket folks....for your play at Beau I wouldn't expect much for future offers, but you might get a free night at Hard Rock...if you played for hours at Treasure Bay then you might get a free room, and you some future free play, but that can be hit and miss...your prospects are better now given the current environment....Biloxi is definitely a different trip than Vegas, but a good alternative none the less....and yes a 7 hour trip in the car can feel like forever (especially between Tallahassee and Pensacola)...glad to hear you had a good time....the Beau is the class of Biloxi for sure

They didn’t take my card at the desk during checkin. I am hoping for comp rooms or heavy discount rooms... I don’t much care about free play as I would only expect $25 or so max...

I probably wouldn’t ever stay at treasure bay- kind of sketchy place at 7pm.

I haven’t seen any “rhyme nor reason” over the years with the charters that the Beau offers. I’m just NW of Atlanta. I’ve had offers out of Chattanooga, which I love. I’ve also had them from all over the SE, Macon, Augusta, Greenville Sc, etc. Prices from $50 to $299/per person.

I can drive it in @7 hours with stops, which is ok. I continue to get 3 comp nights each month. I’m actually headed that way next week for 3 nights, driving.

if I don’t get any charter offers, I will often contact Beau Charters direct and inquire about seats and from what airport. As stated, hit or miss, but have been surprised a couple of times, and took them up on the offer.

    Good luck on future offers.

Be sure to check the Mlife website! They often have great offers for The Beau! I just booked 6 nights at the Delano (Vegas) for a TOTAL $261- off the site. It includes $300 resort credit & $500 FP
