You are not alone! I haven't stayed at Bally's in a few years but I liked both the size and the vibe at the pool. I recall there was lots of lounge space, a nice outdoor bar with fans at the bar to cool off patrons, good music and a nice-sized pool. I love kids but not so much at the pool during a Vegas vacation and I recall that there weren't a lot of children.

I was going to suggest the same -- MESA. Also, if at Flamingo, try the new steakhouse.

I chose NOBU. I’ve eaten here once in New York. I had the house special roll and soft shell crab. The sushi was great. Obviously over priced but who cares.

Back in my room after buying two beers at the gift shop. It’s only 7:30 and I’m full and tired. I need to charge my phone up and decide on the evening. I’m considering going downtown for the good drink service. As of now I ha e $70 more than when I arrived yesterday morning. I’m feeling a dollar royal tonight. Hope dollars isn’t a bad decision.

Only took $2,330 coin in and $600 in to hit the first quad. It’s been rough.

I took a $1500 marker at the Paris high limit room $100 minimum. I played alone and cashed out a bit over $1k. I left after losing a $300 double down against a 6. Basically broke even on the evening. I want ice cream and me bed now.

I played Pai gow for the first time. It was face up and I think I lost $300. I went to Bally’s high limits and played $25 six deck and won $200

I’ll laying in bed now and feel exhausted. I’m only firm $39 for the trip and earned 1900 TC’s on the day. I’ll be annoyed if they don’t comp my $60 in room charges.

Since the trip went well I’ll irons my bed back in September if no earlier.

Good I'm glad I'm not alone! I'm not a bigtime swimmer so I don't need the depth for that, but I do like to be up to my neck in water sometimes. Plus it's pretty quiet and not so busy.

I survived another night. I won’t up with a mild headache and stiff neck. I stopped by the front desk last night and was gives a 2 PM checkout.

I think I’ll hit you the pool when it opens at 9. I’d love to have a mimosa but feel like I should detox today before work tomorrow.

Drink service on the strip was pretty poor everywhere yesterday. I don’t know how you slot players even catch a buzz. Service at the tables was better then the floor but it still took over an hour a few times. I only got one drink in the Paris high limit room but the lot boss said he’d go grab her if needed.

That's very disappointing to hear about the drink service but loving how you are enjoying Vegas!

And the pool for a bit sounds like a great move. I'll be curious to know of your experience at the Bally's pool. Hope its great!

That was an informative tip about taking Andiamo's to go and eating across the casino at the mostly-vacant Vue Bar tables. For sure, don't expect to get a table at Andiamo right now without a reservation decently in advance. Even then, they might not want to seat a solo who reserved for their minimum of two people.

I had a bacon egg and cheese crepe at La Creperia between Bally’s and Paris. I was disappointed that they removed all of their fruit and berry crepes. I only had a choice of four crepes. It was t every good this time. The eggs and bacon were cold and the cheese was unmelted.

This made me laugh though. The teller said “that’ll be $12.99.” I confirmed the price again with her then pointed at the menu showing the price of $11.99. It’s written in chalk and could easily be changed. She still charged me $12.99. D546FD03-DAA9-453A-B1FE-8BB2C7DCA41B.jpeg

I’m 100% pro mask but it’s kind of ridiculous that I need to wear one on a lounge chair. There is no one within 25 feet of me in all directions. Masks aren’t required in the pool. Perfect logic.

4F42A7BC-96FA-45E6-89CC-05385549025D.jpeg Look at this awful pay table. I’m just low rolling it today not using my card. I stopped at the host desk and had all my charges comped on the backend. He said I can do another $25 for lunch.

I asked about room rates and he said $115 a night. The website showed $90 when I looked on Thursday. I think he said my Theo was $1,700 or somewhere close to that. Wish I could remember.
