If, one is looking at a November and / or December trip fares on SW are very competitive or so it seems to me. Especially from the East Coast.

I go most Decembers, after the rodeo is over. No rodeo this year so can go earlier. But not sure about this year. Still have the dream but won't buy tickets yet. Just not sure when this is going to be over. Having a vaccine isn't going to end the pandemic. Vaccine only has to be 50% effective to be approved by FDA. And then the antivaccination group won't take it.

So just not confident I will go.

My 3rd reschedule of our Memorial weekend trip is set for Nov 27-Dec 1 after Thanksgiving. I was supposed to be in town for the Marijuana trade show (for work not pleasure) which is set for Dec 2-4 but now it looks like that trade show is going to be cancelled. So not sure if that will affect our plans. Might have to reschedule for March Madness!

I have two trips in November and one trip in December, but if mLife doesn't get off their ass and announce their HGS dates, I'm planning to go to Asia.

Same as DaiLun, other than not having an Asia trip to look forward to as back-up.

SW has fares locked at $119.00 to $123.00 to and from Pittsburgh/Vegas from now to the end of the year. I have been watching the site daily and the prices haven't moved.

I'm definitely going back Nov or Dec, either right around Thanksgiving or Christmas/New Years I haven't booked anything, but I just drive over so no flights to mess with.

I'm typically there either the week before or after Thanksgiving and plan on going again this year.

I typically like going in mid-December due to lower rates, but these days, I'd have to see cases going down before I even consider going on a trip. It's already August and people still have their head in the sand, so it's going to take a while before that happens.

I have one scheduled Dec 14th. Will wait to cancel my Sept and Oct before I cancel that one. Or, maybe I get lucky and finally get to go. I'm not counting on it. Gold Coast didn't show any comped rooms when I scheduled so I booked at Tuscany using reward points. Dirt cheap, but still have to pay resort fee. Thought I might try something new. Maybe a new place to earn some room comps.

Moved my Aug trip to Nov 13-16, hopeful this one goes through. Sort of an off time so less people which, presumably, may bit a bit safer.

We have tentative plans for October and November, but the flight prices wouldn't apply as the only way I would feel safe is to drive.
November is our normal annual trip, but due to COVID we were unable to get to Maine for our other annual trip to see my ailing mother. That is why October is on the table.
We are thinking on the October trip, to hole up in an off strip casino (thinking South Point currently) for the duration and not doing much moving around. Basically test our feet in the waters of a room that we can sanitize thoroughly and not ask for housekeeping the entire stay, and then venture out with multiple alcohol spray/wipes/sanitizer to the casino. Masked up 100% of course.
November might be more adventurous if we feel it...but I'm not sure.
If we do not feel safe given all the current info at the time we will cancel both.
This might seem extreme but my husband had a heart attack two years ago and we will be taking full precautions.

You're doing the right thing for your husband so dont worry about being extreme. Better to be cautious.

We are still going as of right now for Semi. We will be there Nov 1-7. I just canceled our room today and rebooked NYNY for 6 nights comped. That has NEVER happen for us during Sema week. Gotta wonder if the hotel know Sema will cancel.

they dont know it will cancel but they expect it to like many other conventions...the price drop is that not many people are booking...so far, according to SEMA, the show is still on with restrictions
